“Great little place to stop for a break. Ok so not loads of seating available but that makes it cosy. Decently priced. Do yourself a favour and have the blueberry cake, definitely in the top 5 of cakes I've had.”
“Love this little place, such a great amenity to have in a local park. Always pop here for an ice cream on hot days. Please note, if you have a push chair they are only allowed 1 at a time inside. There is a huge sign on the door that says this but some parents miss it and get ratty with the staff when told. It's not their fault, its fire regulations!”
“Good food at reasonable prices. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice variety on the menu.”
“Best sandwiches and loads of other options.”
“Isabelle and the team were exceptional, demonstrating both professionalism and efficiency.”
“Once again a lovely trip to Costa at Beechdale. Staff are so welcoming and friendly you're met with a nice smile and "Good Morning" served with your favourite coffee, which is always made to perfection. There is only one thing missing to make this an excellent experience, and that is that for the last couple of months the 'air con' has been broken. This certainly puts a black mark on this superb.coffee shop which I believe is the best in Nottingham. With the hearwave it has certainly worked against this amazing coffee shop. Definitely 5 out of 5.”
“Toby was a star this evening, recommended additional syrup & toppings. Great customer service & even better coffee”
“Good breakfast and really friendly and polite service”
“Outstanding staff and security guard today 23/10/25 at 3pm! I have a serious concussion from Sunday gone (they thought I'd fractured my skull, serious) but I really needed washing stuff for the washing machine and I didn't have anyone to go for me as I'm newish to the area. I felt fine to drive and Asda is literally 5 minutes or less drive away. I was fine driving and fine when I parked up. When I got out of the car I felt really really dizzy but thought I'd just got up fast. I grabbed a trolley to lean on and as I hit the doors I realised this wasn't just vertigo and I needed to sit down before I passed out. I told the security guard who got me a chair instantly and called for first aid trained staff to come and help. The lovely staff asked me if I've eaten to which I said I'd actually forgotten to eat again today and asked me what sandwiches I eat and got me a bottle of water. I asked how much I owe and they said nothing. I explained I didn't want to steal (I'm neurodivergent and they were so kind with this too) and they informed me it's not stealing if they give it to me and then the security and the two staff members stayed with me for up to an hour (one had to leave near the hour mark but the other two were able to stay) one had actually clocked out at 3pm and stayed all the way til I was okay to get up. They even grabbed the two items for my washing machine for me and then paid with my phone and walked me to my car and had a chat at the car to make sure I was okay. It was such a lovely experience and made me feel so safe and included, especially with my conditions I'm often frowned upon, by people. I honestly couldn't ask for better staff members here and it's made me feel so at home because I had this bond with my old superstore Asda where I used to live 200 miles away for four years and was so sad and anxious to leave because it was always a safe space for me with my bad anxiety. But this Asda has proved that yet again, they hire some amazing staff members. (As everywhere you can't say that EVERYONE is amazing and I can't say I haven't had a bad experience over my assistance dog with a higher staff member a month ago, but it's nothing I've not had and sorted out before with their higher ups. This doesn't stop me using this Asda or commending those who deserve it.) Unfortunately I don't have the names of the staff but they see me regularly and know me and my lad but I wish there was a way to get them all a pay rise or something sorted from their head office for their help, understanding and their compassion while they waited and listened to me talk for an hour about stuff. If anyone knows how, please can you let me know (I know Asda employees can reply so maybe that way?)”
“Absolutely loved the Frappuccino at Starbucks in Nottingham! It was amazing, and the service was the best I've ever had. Highly recommend!”
“The staff in this store are a genuine credit to Costa. This has been the most clean, attentive and friendly Costa we have ever visited. The staff helped carry trays, were polite and helpful and helped carry the additional tray. They came and asked how everything was for us and even helped take our tray away. Service with a smile and care! Best Costa to visit!!”
“Extremely helpful staff at Asda Opticians. I suffer with migraines associated with visual aura. They helped me on the spot and went out of the way to carry out an eye examination. This gave me so much relief and peace of mind that my eye health is fine and the visual aura is due to migraine and not due to any eye abnormality. They were super helpful and supportive. Wishing them all a happy Xmas and a happy new year.”
“Stayed 1 night for business. Convenient location and plenty of free (once you enter your reg into an iPad) parking. Room was comfortable and I had a good night's sleep.”
“Nive coffee shop near outpatient services in Derby Royal. Lots of snack choices, serves Costa coffee.”
“Lovely iced coffees They make sure it’s made exactly how you want it”
“Aaran the security guard is just amazing. We need a specific hoodie for our son to wear to school the next day for world mental health day and we called the store at 9pm since we live 1.5 hours away and explained the situation to him. He went out of his way to check with his collegues and found the last one in stock for us aside which we then collected. He’s a true asset to Asda.”
“Lovely store, with wide glass walls, ideal for a sunny winter morning. Drinks are nice and the food in store is good enough for a quick bite. Staff are nice and friendly.”
“Back to school at Asda never fails to dissapoint. They are always very well stocked and you can find whatever you want. Everything is usually high quality, and will last quite long. The sizes go from starting primary, to leaving secondary, and shoes tend to be for the younger ones. They have reasonable priced garments and accessories for all sizes, slim - plus sizes.”
“Staff friendly and helpful (and patient with old duffers like me). Food typical of hospital restaurant meals, they are simple, staightforward and I love them. Especially the fried breakfast - there was fried bread! And it was good fried bread. Lunchtime chips good too.”
“Staff lovely service with a smile lovely people all good. Friendly dog's lovely place to relax”
“Lovely student area, good food and serenity. There is a big screen for live events and a sound system for music. The heating system is very effective, keeping the place warm. It's a lovely area to cool off from a lecture or relax before the lecture.”
“Very friendly staff, superb coffee and baked goods that are better than the competing shops in the station. Rarely crowded, so great to grab a coffee between tram and train.”
“i came across of the freshly prepared french fries and it was a great deal very economical and adding cheese is a plus. as whole a wide range of food is available accessible and a wide space where you can chat and have some food.”
“I highly recommend the Asda Superstore in Grantham. Every visit is a pleasure; the store is consistently immaculately clean and tidy. They always seem to be well-stocked across all departments, from fresh produce to household essentials, meaning I rarely leave disappointed. A major plus is the ample parking; there are loads of parking spaces, making visits stress-free even during busy times. Plus, having the convenient filling station right there saves an extra trip! The real standout, however, is the friendly and incredibly helpful staff—they make the entire shopping trip efficient and pleasant. It truly offers great value for money and remains my absolute go-to supermarket in the area. A genuine five-star experience!”
“Staff are always nice and friendly. Coffee is good tho expensive, but you have such a lovely vibrant atmosphere to enjoy. Also excellent food choices. All in all well worth a visit.”
“Wasn’t too busy during the week when we came. Lots of outdoor and indoor seating. It is dog friendly too which is a plus. Menu is small and simple but ideal for a light lunch. We had jacket potato’s which were great! Can’t really fault them or the service so 5 stars is deserved.”
“Very happy. Breakfast was quite big, very delicious, and hot. Coffee extra hot like requested at the till. Nice atmosphere by the fireplace, nothing beats a live fire. I haven’t felt so cosy for a very long time, really impressed by the temperature, I could even take off my jumper. Really happy and I'm waiting for a repeat. The prices are also reasonable compared with other similar places. Nice staff. Breakfast is served till noon so this is a big advantage as well :)”
