Pub in Nottingham

“Great pub! Because the drinks are reasonable as is the food. Even better if you like to watch Nottingham Forest footy matches on the massive screen! Or other teams matches. I’m not a footy fan, but lots of people are so it’s a great location. There are other areas too, away from the match. Staff do a good job but like a lot of places these days there’s not much human engagement at all - especially if you order online. Very quick online service on a Sunday afternoon.”

“I come here regularly, as a customer with family. Also with my services users who have a wide range of disabilities. I find the pub to be friendly, relaxed and nothing is to much trouble. They have gone above and beyond many times.”

“Had no money and politely asked to use the toilets and was granted access. Was able to suit and boot myself to no expense. Seems popular and chilled out. Also managed, the scruff I am to appropriate some tobacco unselfishly not made obsolete with tap water. A tragic ploy by some landlords but not these. “Me and my daughter stayed here recently and we had a great time the food was amazing the room was so nice the staff are such friendly people it was great chatting with the staff while we stayed in the Sun Inn. It was busy with the football being on but the atmospheric was amazing. The general manager Amy is an absolute star so nice and friendly really bubbly person we need managers like her in Ireland can’t wait to go back soon”

“We used the venues upstairs room for a private event.All staff where friendly and very helpful.Had a glitch with sound system but they did there absolute best to resolve this as soon as they could. We was told we need to take our own rubbish and we did and received full deposit back no problem.Over all very pleased.”

The restaurant is simple, spacious and clean. Reception and service of guests is adequate.They are kind and helpful in choosing food. Good value for money.People with reduced mobility can also visit the restaurant. For me, the food lacked a bit of salt and it was not the usual intense seasoning. But that doesn't affect the fact that the food was delicious. I can only recommend”
