“This is an incredibly authentic pub with bucket loads of character (decor, chef and bar staff). The food blows anything from your “usual local pub” out of the water. Had scallops, kind prawns and fish goujons with lovely crusty brown bread. The special beer on tap was a real treat. Atmosphere at 8pm on a Tuesday was quiet and cosy (candle light type vibe) but got lively at 9.30pm when the locals farmers arrived, who were all nice. If you are a city prince or princess this might not be for you…. but in my opinion this is a real hidden gem.”

“Absolutely incredible. The staff were all lovely and the food was TO DIE FOR! There was a bit of wait for a table but the food most definitely made up for it. 11/10 for vegan options. The guacamole reminded me of what we had in Mexico recently, really authentic and fresh. My only complaint is that we don’t live closer!”

“Was genuinely surprised at how very good the food was here. We bought takeaway here a few years back, and it was nice enough but not outstanding. Then came for an actual dine-in meal a couple of nights ago and was amazed at the quality. I gather there has been some change in set-up since we bought that takeaway, and the meal we had here was pretty much perfect. Really beautifully cooked dishes with great flavours and quality ingredients. The slow cooked pork belly was fabulous, as was the sizzling black pepper beef. Dining in it was reasonable value for money. Alcoholic drinks seemed quite expensive (though maybe I'm just out of touch), and portions were very fair but not huge, but as I say the actual food was really exceptional. Certainly if Asian Bowls ever became a BYO we'd eat there once a month. As it is, we will definitely be back next time we have something to celebrate!”

“8 of us on a golf weekend. Booked months in advance but on the night they had no record of booking. Fortunately, even though it was a Friday, they weren't busy so could fit us in. We chose the banquet for 8 (c) and the food that was served up was amazing. High quality from the sweet and hit soup, to aromatic crispy duck pancakes, starters and many, many main dishes Serve throughout by the waitresses was excellent. Highly recommend.”

“First time eating here. Was a bit dubious because of some of the reviews but decided to try it. Food was delivered in half the time they said which was amazing. It was also very hot and freshly cooked. The chicken was great aswell as the shredded beef being really good. Will definitely be back.”

“Fantastic takeaway tonight. The best Kuet's that I've had in a couple of years. Good portions as always but tonight's just had the edge. Everything was really fresh and tasty. The Singapore Chow Mein was how it was the first time I had Kuet's. Thanks guys”
