“I don't often write reviews, but this pizza was an absolute standout meal. After a quick chat with the lovely waitress and then chef, I settled on the Calabrese. Fantastic rich tasting base and sauce, with plenty of flavoursome toppings. As a local favourite establishing their first shopfront I wish them very well. I would certainly go out of my way to return again should I have the chance from Australia.”

“A Proper Traditional Cafe, I’m currently on a health drive so opted for a small vegetarian breakfast which was cooked quickly and was decent value for well under a fiver. The full English looked very tempting though! Will definitely visit again when in Ryde.”

“Very cosy restaurant. Excellent spot if you're not too familiar with Japanese food as the menu is extensive with lots of detail. Food was delicious, the sushi was fresh and the wait wasn't too long. Fantastic meal and great atmosphere.”

“Great burgers, excellent service and nice interior. Probably the best burger joint in Southsea. The desserts are lovely too. It is ever so slightly more expensive than the other halal places for burgers etc in Portsmouth but you get what you pay for and that is an amazing burger and a great selection of sides (which I will try more of next time. Only had the wings this time and they were sublime.).”

“Visited for the first time a couple of days ago on a recommendation from a Google review and glad I did. The food was delicious and yes I quite agree with the Chucky chips comment they were lovely took me back to when I was a kid and many Chinese takeaways did proper chips. The curry sauce Was also delicious and in a pot big enough to really enjoy. Sweet and sour Chicken was fresh and crispy and barbecue spare ribs were great too. Will be returning and top of my order will be chunky chips and curry sauce....”

“Outstanding Brazilian BBQ with great meat, be prepared to leave very full. Very friendly staff, good food and a good view. Also great different meat options which was a big win for us as one of our party doesn't eat beef. Beautiful view over Port Solent too. Not the cheapest but you get your money's worth. I would recommend and would go back.”

“Kathy was our server. We came before a few weeks ago but the fish and chips were changing if so she gave us free drinks. This time we had the fish and chipsLarge portion of fish in nice light batter. Loads of salad. Kathy was very attentive and hard working wiping down tables clean as soon as people had finished. This Harvester is very nice and clean . The music is not very nice and maybe could be just a bit quieter. Very friendly staff too”

As for all the people that leave negative comments, go back and tell them if you are not happy, they aim to provide everyone with a good meal.”

“The Notso Sunday Roast is well worth a try. 'Family' sharing platter was plentiful and excellent value. Classic sides support a trio of meats, all very well cooked and very tasty. We weren't surprised to hear that next week (and the last for 2024) is nearly sold out. If you are thinking about it, get booking, you won't be disappointed. Well done Charlie and Team, hope to see it return for November '25.”

“As an avid sushi enthusiast, I love trying all sushi including the awful stuff at tesco to the counters at Sainsbury's and the high end restaurants. This place truly is a gem in terms of pricing and quality. So great it's local adding to a low diverse of options in Bognor. So tasty, fresh, very well packed and presented. Rice is always perfect too. Hope they will continue to grow and offering a wider menu selection. Seeing more options of platters and fried options would be brilliant.”

“I visited to experience the vegan Sunday roast with my friend today and we are both massively impressed! Will definitely be coming again the Yorkshire's are amazing and the portions are epic. I took home a slice of biscoff cheesecake and that was heaven. Lovely and friendly to with a nice chilled out vibe”

“Lovely little restaurant. We had the set menu at lunch. Loved each of the three courses. They served a warm small loaf of malted bread with butter and a dish of fat olives at the beginning - nice touch to whet our appetites. We had the charred bream to start, and mains were the pork belly and the ox cheek. Desserts were warm carrot cake with cream cheese sorbet and dark chocolate bavarois with rhubarb. Everything was delicious. We will definitely return.”

“I have been to this nice bistro with my wife. We took the mussels and fish and chips: plentiful and delicious! We also ordered ice cream at the end of the meal and fortunately they had the dairy-free option. The service was impeccable: everyone was very kind and helpful. In the end we even exchanged a chat about our origins (we are Italian...). Highly recommended!”
