“Lovely little cosy place, we went on a cold day so decided to avoid sitting in the garden. The food was superb, quice is a must if you enjoy that kind of thing and the cake was very fresh, fluffy and light. Good selection of pastries and good service, music is mellow and not too loud. Most of the noise is the talking of others or the coffee machines.”

“Just amazing, we ventured through the jeweler's to the wine garden with our three dogs and we were all blown away. Amazing food, service and venue. We had a selection of the breakfast dishes which were all delicious. We will very much be returning for more. I would have added a photo of the food but it was all devoured too quickly.”

“Went for the first time. It was almost full and we had no reservation but table for 3 was fine. I'm Spanish and a bit reluctant to go to southern european restaurants in the UK due to disappointments on many occasions. We ordered sardines (great, like back home) and calamari (not so great and something I don't ever order in the UK, but my friend wanted to try). Then bacalhau (fantastic), lobster (didn't try but friend say it was great) and fish skewer (just okay, as the salmon was not well done and a bit raw-ish inside, but prawns and other fish were good). Nice desserts too. It's a bit expensive but tbh for the quality and the produce I it is worth it, compared to many other places you go. Yes it's 19 for the bacalhau but that's the price of a Sunday roast these days which much lesser quality produce. They have a lot of deals during the week tbh. I will definitely go back next time I visit Portsmouth.”

“Just ordered a small cheese pizza with plain buffalo wings to be delivered for my grandson. It was perfect the pizza was cooked to perfection and arrived piping hot and quickly ,delivered by a very pleasant young man also the buffalo wings were so nice. I know this is going to be the go to treat in the future for my grandson we both enjoyed very much thank you .”

“July 2025. We ate in off the cuff on a quiet windy Tuesday night and just can't fault Bangkok Lounge..Food was fantastic, service was better. Free parking after 6pm about 15metres away. The end.... Been here 25yrs nearly now and it is only my personal opinion but as other restaurants and pubs mainly focus on money laundering, supermarket food passed off as theirs or 1,, yes just 1,, egg on toast for £15!!. (It's a venue, not a pub the staff said as the dog hairs folded themselves into my £15 gold plated egg,, sorry Cold plated waffle.) Bangkok Lounge stands out a quality mile..Fantastic fresh food. “Wow!!!! We could easily give more than 5 stars. There was 9 of us but we experienced fantastic service and the most AMAZING food. The portions are really big but so tasty you can't stop eating. The meat was so tender it melted in your mouth. Absolutely outstanding on service and food. Thank you for a brilliant evening.”

“My first visit. Sunday lunchtime. Charming host, very helpful with suggestions from the Tapas menu. Food wad delivered quite promptly and was all totally delicious. We had cocktails not alcohol and they were pretty and very nice. Atmosphere was a quiet Sunday lunch for us rather than a busy evening or weekend which is their usual vibe. We were very happy with a bit of peace and calm. We had pre booked a table which was easy to do online.”

“This was our first visit to Passage to India, and we were not disappointed. The starters were extremely fresh with plenty of herbs and spices. The main meal was delicious and very filling, and the nan’s again were freshly cooked. The restaurant itself was spotlessly clean. Will definitely eat here again.”

“The rumours are true! Massive, tasty portions at the cheapest prices inhave seen in years!!! My beef in black bean sauce with egg foo young and chips was excellent, hot, fresh and tasty, no skimping on quality. My beef in black bean sauce contained huge pieces of tender sliced beef My egg foo young packed with chicken, pork, peas and onion ( and chips included in same box ). Will definitely be ordering again very very soon, looking forward to ordering curry dishes next, fried rice, chow mein, soo much to order!!!”

“A cosy and surprisingly large 2-story cafe with lots of outside seating for the warm weather. Parking on the streets nearby. Generously proportioned sandwiches come with a really tasty salad. One bowl of pwefect chips as a side did the three of us. Too full to have cake but they looked nice. Fully dog friendly. Staff are friendly and helpful and service was very prompt.”

“We had the most lovely evening at this restaurant. There was rather a lot of us and we opted for the self service buffet menu. The food was hot, well presented and continuously topped up. There was a good selection and it tasted absolutely delicious!. The staff were very friendly and accomodatiing. There is plenty of parking just outside the restaurant. ... and the best part was that you could go up as many times as you liked!. One point that I would like to make though, is that I would only put on my plate the amount of food that I know I could eat as there were some people that I noticed that would pile the food up on their plate and then not eat is as they were too greedy. So please just take what you can eat... you can always top up again if you are still a little peckish ! 10 out of 10. Definitely worth a visit!”

“It is a lovely place to eat. It feels authentic, and the staff is very friendly and kind. The food was delicious and well made. The portions were just right for an adult, and drinks were okay. The place is a little small, and felt a little packed when it got busier. For the two sharing starters, four mains, and a few drinks, we've paid a little over £100 - which worked out roughly £25/pp - so prices are fair too, in my opinion.”
