“We are here on the spur of the moment for lunch and had a fantastic meal. Restaurant was bright and stylish and the food really lovely. I was not very familiar with Thai food but had the mixed starter platter which we thought might be expensive at nearly £10.00 per person but we were really pleased with this choice. Friendly staff helped us choose a main. My daughter had an amazing duck dish with lovely Jasmine rice. Now converted to Thai food in preference to Chinese and although we very rarely eat out I would return. Thank you for a lovely meal”

“On a grey winter day, it was great to take my mother somewhere cosy for lunch. An open fire, home cooked food, friendly staff. Being busy with regular customers on a Tuesday tells you a lot. For beer lovers, they have a good selection of real ales. I recommend booking, we were lucky to get a table.”

“Popped here for lunch and we chose from the set menu which for 3 courses for £22.95 is such a bargain. The food was excellent, the ambience lovely and the service was impeccable. Can't wait to go back soon.”

“Don't get caught out as we were. Friends had raved about the boathouse but we were disappointed by the small selection of cakes , rolls and panini , BUT it was the best panini we had ever had AND we then on leaving we discovered we had gone into the Boathouse cafe not the linked Boathouse restaurant right next door. We will just have to revisit. :)”

“Stopped here for some food after a winter surf, as soon as we walked through the door the staff were so welcoming and friendly, service was quick, food was delicious we had the fish and chips! Atmosphere was calm and lovely to enjoy and the establishment was spotless clean very great place to eat! Will be back again :)”

“Just come back from a weekend in West Witterings and are super pleased we found this pub. We went for dinner and it was so good popped back for lunch on Sunday too! You will need to book as it's clearly very popular. The menu has lots of variety and everything is cooked wonderfully. The atmosphere is cosy and welcoming and also very dog friendly, which was awesome for us as we were away with our dogs. We'll definitely be back.”

“We were very impressed by the food and staff at the Earl of March today. We both had the scallops starter from the al a carte menu and the dish was perfectly cooked with delicious flavours We then each had an open sandwich, these were al a carte sandwiches at normal pub prices, I had Brie, beetroot and homemade pickle, my husband had beef, both came with pickled vegetables, remoulade and brilliant homemade chunky chips that as delicious as roast potatoes, the sandwiches were thoughtful, tasty and great value for money, even though we were full we couldn’t resist sharing the sticky toffee pudding dessert and we weren’t disappointed it was gooey but light, with great ice cream on a bed a crunch. The staff were friendly, there was a lovely fire burning and I expect we’ll be back.”

“What can i say, the carvery was delicious, a proper home cooked roast. My husband is fussy but he loved it. My eyes as usual were too big for my belly and they didn't hesitate to give me a container to take home. Great friendly bar lady called Kerry and perfect hosts Seb and Dulci. Thank you guys xx”

“Stopped for a lunchtime break on the way home, after a bit of shopping in Chichester. Pleasant staff. It was a little difficult to find the way in by car and the main entrance to the building from the route we came in, as it shares with the golf club, health centre and the bar and grill. Food was good, service was excellent.”
