“Wow! Wow! Wow! This place is amazing! Right from when your set foot in the door the staff are warm and welcoming. Lovely atmosphere with nice Indian music in the background to say the tone. Immaculate white linen table settings all spotless. It is bigger than it looks with a Sisha Lounge behind the main restaurant. It's the best tasting Indian food I've had, genuinely. Great poppadoms(some with a spicy twist) and chutneys to start, delicious mains and great wine. Zak our waiter and all the staff were attentive when you needed them, but gave you space to enjoy your evening when you didn't which for me is the epitomy of great waiting staff. We will be returning. If you are looking for a great Indian restaurant in the Twyford area, go to Haweli, you won't be disappointed.”

“Alto Lounge is one of my favourite locations to enjoy a good breakfast and a lovely cup of coffee. It's always spot on and the lovely people working here make sure you are always having a good experience. We asked for substitutions, they've done it. We asked for recommendations, they've provided extensive info. They checked on us to make sure everything is top. Can't fault them. Thank you very much for everything you do!”

“The Volunteer is a traditional pub in the heart of Theale, Berkshire. It has a warm and inviting atmosphere, with exposed brickwork and a traditional fireplace. The menu features a wide variety of pub classics, as well as some more modern dishes. We started our meal with sticky pigs in blankets. These were perfectly cooked and the sausages were juicy and flavorful. For our main courses, I had the chicken curry and my partner had the steak and ale pie. Both dishes were delicious. The chicken curry was rich and flavorful, and the steak and ale pie was hearty and filling. The service at The Volunteer was excellent. Our server was friendly and attentive, and he made sure that we had everything we needed. We also enjoyed the selection of beers on tap. Overall, we had a great experience at The Volunteer. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We would definitely recommend this pub to anyone looking for a great meal in Theale. “Lovely lunch. A hidden away place. Menu has almost all gluten-free options. Had risotto for starter, followed by steak and finished off with cheesecake. All perfectly done, especially the risotto which was fantastic. Highly recommended for anyone in the area”

“The food was so tasty. My husband and I had lamb shank, there was so much meat on the bone and we ordered cauliflower cheese as a side, this was V cheesy and there was plenty. Mother in law had the venison stew, she said it was tasty and there was loads. My son had the boar sausage, he ate everything and said it tasted really good. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. We were a bit cold in the snug, but they turned the heating up for us and we soon warmed up. Will definitely go again.”

“A great marker is the pub dog and the cross keys has the beautiful and calm blue and very friendly boy. We only popped in for a couple of drinks, however sitting in the cozy bar next to the kitchen, the smells and sights coming out soon had our tummies rumbling, so a pint of Level head, one of the cheapest I've had and a dry white was accompanied by a delicious battered fish and chips. Landlord while rushed off his feet had time to chat along with friendly locals. If nothing go for a level head and a chat and a pat with Blue”

“Absolutely loved baby sensory the sessions are so well planned and engaging with a lovely mix of music, textures and activities that really capture babies detention. You see how much care and thought has gone into each class. My baby was smiling curious and fully involved in the whole time, Lauren, was warm friendly and acknowledge creating a relaxed and welcoming at atmosphere for both Leo and me. it’s a wonderful way to support early development while having fun. highly recommend to any parent with a little one. “I had previously taken my car into a repair shop to address a problem with rust appearing adjacent the rear wheel arch. It was "repaired" and about 6 weeks later blisters appeared. It was returned and re-repaired (I was told they had not treated a wide enough area) and about 6 weeks later even more blistering appeared. I arranged for Jay to examine and quote for the necessary remedial work. He was able to instantly explain that the problem was caused by the fact that the panelling was double walled where it was rusting and the repairs had not been successful because the metal was rusting through from the back and needed to be cut out and replaced, the void filled with a rust proofing treatment and the new section resprayed. When I collected the car, I was shown photographs to illustrate the problem and the remedial work that had been carried out. Not only that, I was given the section of the panel that had been removed and it was very obviously rusting through from the back and that was why the original work was a total waste of time and my money. Jay advised that he had also sprayed Waxoyl in the wheel arch cavity on the other side of the vehicle to help prevent any similar problem developing. I was impressed with the detailed explanation given why the work was required and how it was to be carried out, the photograph evidence provided to show what had actually been done and the fact that the rusted cut out part was kept for inspection. The paint finish was to a very high standard. I feel Jay is very knowledgeable, committed to carrying out work to a very high standard at a reasonable price and is also a very pleasant person to deal with. I feel confident to recommend Jays Autobody Repairs.”
