The owners are absolutely lovely, they really care about the people who visit, if I lived in Kennet Island I would definitely go every day it was open, 100% worth a detour to visit if you live remotely near Reading. :)”

“I came here last night to celebrate my birthday, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about the experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made me and my friends feel so welcome and taken care of. The service was absolutely unmatched — it’s so rare these days to find a place where everyone goes above and beyond to make your night special. “We popped into Veena's Kitchen on a bit of a whim yesterday evening and can say with confidence it was the best Thai food I've had in years. The starters were tasty (chicken wings & prawn crackers) & the Thai Green Curry was delicious & punchy. My partner had the Pad Gra Phrao which was also very tasty. Service was impeccable & the total bill reasonable. I can highly recommend a visit. We'll be back very soon!”

“Most awesome pizzas and foods served. Taste is out of this planet that’s how much my family Njoyed here for the First time. Highly recommend to anyone to try out this joint for the freshest pizzas and the freshest ingredients used. Veg or vegan , they serve both. Fries were amazing too. “Beautiful cafe, food and owners. I was driving back to North Wales after visiting friends in Camberley and Deepcut. My brakes suddenly failed. Thankfully I managed to pull into a housing estate and parked. I had no idea where or if there was a garage I asked several people but most ignored me. I could not get a signal on my phone. I was soaking wet from walking around trying to get signal. I was also very cold and very tired. There were no hotels and it was getting dark. I found this lovely cafe further up the road. It was closing time but the very kind owners told me to go in and get warm and dry, they also made great coffee and cooked food for me. Their kindness was overwhelming after the scary and horrible experience I had when the car suddenly went out of control and the brakes failed due to an ABS problem. A teenage girl told me where to get help and gave me directions. Very grateful to her too”

“We went to Daniele Sicilian for our Golden Wedding anniversary. We took 20 friends and family and had an amazing time. The food was excellent everyone enjoyed it, there were no complaints other than there more than enough. The staff could not have been more helpful, they were attentive but discreet. The food is outstanding, it's not licensed, so you can take your own, (or buy it from the store next door) The service, again was great with good advice from the team, definitely worth a visit. The Wednesday night banquet is great value, but you've got to book early and because the portions are generous we had some food to take away as well. Perfect.”

“Hands down THE BEST pizza in Aldershot. Doesn’t taste like some cheap takeaway pizza that you can get anywhere. It feels almost as if it’s homemade. The restaurant itself is very nice. You may not notice it but there is an area with some tables if you go down the corridor. You can definitely see how passionate the owners were when making this place and well… the food. I also reccomend the spaghetti carbonara”

“Took my favourite summer rolls as a starter, they were fantastic. Rich taste of peanut sauce perfectly combined with mild taste of the prawns. Delicious! As a main I had steak pho, it was yummy. I was really happy with generous amount of well done steak. Noodles were cooked perfectly, they were not overdone and melted in my mouth. I would also like to mention Margherita, who was really friendly and helpful, she even helped me to charge my phone. Great service! Thank you guys.”

From the mussels as a starter, the main courses and terrific desserts, the food and wine really were outstanding. The team there made us feel welcome, and to a person were friendly and attentive. The evening was made even better since So Sinatra by Frank Cognoscenti was there, as he is every month, and he was simply terrific - superb vocals, very funny and he really set a wonderful tone to the evening. So if you're going to this restaurant, then do check out when So Sinatra is there - he's an absolutely class act!”
