“A huge thank you to the team at Reading Pizza Express. My mom visited the restaurant last Friday while she was in town for a quick lunch. She was visiting the country for a week and doesn’t speak the language, so when her card unexpectedly stopped working and she realised she didn’t have enough cash, she became quite stressed. The staff were incredibly kind — they reassured her, offered to reduce the cost of her meal, and even took the time to contact me so we could sort things out together. They truly went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable and supported. When we returned the next day to pay the remaining balance, they refused to take it, insisting that everything had already been taken care of. Their compassion, generosity, and genuine human kindness made a world of difference. Thank you for showing such great character — we deeply appreciate it.”

“First experience of Rizouk and what an experience it was. The service was impeccable and the food was delightful. So many flavours that satisfy the senses. This is the difference between Rizouk and many other restaurants offering similar menu, the preparation and the tastes were accute whereas many other establishments are quite bland. The cafe itself is located very central on this nice little English town. @tmosphere is as always cool, very French feel and people sit near to each other but still there is some tables that can be separated from others. SERVICE Very good! We were served by lovely ladies, Daniella and Fatima.Very kind and professional... FOOD Excellent food.Very tasty and well cooked. I was there with friends from Kerith church in Windsor and we had a lovely time.... each one orederd something different...all were satisfied. “Good food across the board. Nice staff with timely service. Much appreciated. Fun quirk: Gandhi was strictly a teetotaler and anti alcohol. His birth state has banned alcohol for this reason. In the restaurant the non-alcoholic options were scarce. Not quite Gandhi in that aspect.”

“We used to get this delivered when we lived in bramley and it was lush.. tho the week day balti had a lot more taste than the weekend delivery so thinking maybe two different chefs..now moved back to Basingstoke we tried several places for a balti and none have come close to how tasty this one is.. it’s definitely our favourite Indian takeaway by far . “Best pizza that I have had in a long, long time. I had a Hot Bite which had great flavour as well as the heat and their special garlic bread with cheese is out of this world. They also had a gluten free option which kept my wife happy and seemed to have plenty of meal deal options. Cheers guys. Will definitely be back”

“Great spot for Sunday lunch. Quite reasonable prices too for families considering that kids under 12 can eat for free. The roast beef was cooked nicely without being overdone and the Yorkshire pudding was suitably moist. There's outside seating when the weather is good and a small but serviceable wine list.”

“This is probably my favourite chinese takeaway, always very friendly and helpful. Meets dietary requirements such as gluten-free. Food tastes great and is always high quality. It feels like such a welcoming place, e.g. We once went there wanting fish and chips, but it said "no fish and chips, fryer is broken." We went in and said,"we were going to order fish and chips, but we see the fryer broke." She thought for a second and said, "No, you're regular, we make especially for you." This really made my day, and as a bonus, every time it's someone's birthday and we go, they give us fortune cookies for free!”
