“A casual pub dinner far exceeded our expectations in terms of food quality and quantity - so many prawns in the linguine! The service was fabulous, thanks to Holly and Sophia. We had been told there was no Whitebait left so ordered a different starter but then two generous plates of whitebait arrived for us. We were of course very happy with this but were still offered a complimentary glass of wine each due to this slight miscommunication. A really lovely experience sat in the outdoor dining area on a balmy summers evening, with a gentle buzz of conversation around us, plus great food and service. Thanks Foundry Bell.”

They also run daily food deals, which makes it really good value for money. It’s not just a place for a meal or a pint – it’s also a great spot to work from during the day. The broadband is fast and reliable, and the atmosphere is relaxed but friendly, so it works really well if you need a change of scene from home. There are plenty of plant based options, gluten free options etc and they will happily make changes to suit. Full English breakfast again was awesome. “Did a group food cooking class for 6 people with Pet. Had a fantastic time. The food we made (vegan red Thai curry) was delicious and Pet did a fantastic job explaining how to cook everything well and to each person's individual tastes. The mocktails we had were delicious. I would definitely consider doing another class for a different dish again.”

Their portions are great, you won’t be hungry after! Very dog friendly too with a special doggy treats area. Nice selection of alcohol free drinks too. A proper pub.”
