“A great Thai restaurant that I would highly recommend for service (rapid), food quality (top notch), atmosphere (friendly and polite) and enjoyability (high). After arrival we greeted by the head waiter and seated and given menus. Service was efficient and within under 10 minutes we were eating. As previously stated by my fellow Local Guides the high level of service continued throughout our stay. The menu choices matched the flavour of the food - plenty! Quantities of portions matched our appetite. Recommended for families, groups and romantic dining.”

“Friendly staff. Excellent food to suit meat eaters and veggies. Quick service. We sat upstairs with a nice view of the river. Not sure why this has a 4* rating should be higher”

“Decent place to get basic DIY materials and reasonably priced things for hosepipe and large heavy-duty bin bags. A perfect place if you are self-employed like a plumber or electrician for your work supplies. I know if I need anything, to check this place first. It has good parking and is easy to find.”

“Visited this store today. Found 2 matching tops just in different colours with some sizing difference between them. As it was the only one in that colour and I loved how it looked i still wanted it despite the sizing issue. Abbie at the downstairs checkout said that since I wanted it but had no time to order a new one in to store that was the coreect length due to leaving for our wedding abroad, she would grant me a discount of 20%. This was amazing as it meant I managed to grab 2 holiday tops that I liked despite a slight sizing issue, I just wasnt willing to pay full price for a faulty product despite it looking good. Thank you so much for helping me today keeping my shopping simple.”

“The Shiny Sheff pub opened in the late 60s and for most of its life, has welcomed visitors with a sign depicting artwork of HMS Sheffield, the famous Royal Navy destroyer. Sadly 20 crewman passed and many more were injured when the ship was attacked during the Falklands conflict 40 years ago this week. HMS Sheffield was later sunk, but in memory, a reunion of surviving crewmen, families and friends took place on Saturday 30-Apr-2022. The Shiny Sheff came to life, with hugs, smiles and tears to mark an occasion to remember. The Royal Navy is building the 4th HMS Sheffield and we wish her and the Shiny Sheff a long and happy adventure. A commemorative parade and service of remembrance was held at Sheffield City Hall and the Cathedral on 01-May. A two minute silence was observed for those not forgotten.”

The kind lady made some fresh extra crispy bacon for my pregnant sister craving it crispy. Warmed our crossaints and very attentive. The food is absolutely bang on. “We wanted to write a review to thank Marie in the kitchen department for being very helpful and professional with us during our appointments. Nothing was to much trouble and explained everything to a very high standard. She went the extra mile from coffees, ensuring parking reg confirmed to adding our dogs into the illustrations and also checked regularly if we were comfortable. On multiple times we changed our ideas and requirements and Marie happily supported us and changed everything with no trouble at all. We have decided not to purchase from B and Q this time (product related) but just wanted to give feedback on the excellent customer service we received in store from Marie, Compared to other places we visited.”
