“Went to a here fir drinks after a funeral. 1 small room and 1 giant room witg pool,snoiker darts, punch bal machine and a fruit machine. Very clean pub and toilets. Had great nights out here in the past. Lady on the ber was friendly and efficient 5* thank you.”

“Absolutely stunning apartment in a great little village, within walking distance from Sherwood Forest the hosts have thought of everything you might possibly need to have a great stay! Heating and air con worked perfectly lovely little welcome hamper and instructions on how to use all the amenities, spotless felt so cozy and at home absolutely perfect stay will be staying again!”

“Held my parties and burlesque shows here, lovely venue to hire, 2 lots of toilets, food is lovely on the days they do food. However cobs can be found behind the bar or requested on days the kitchen is closed. Sunday dinners are really nice. Regulars are friendly, manager is nice and helpful. Look forward to the next shows an parties.”

“Went to rose cottage last night for our lovely friends 80th birthday. Got seated on the party table, decorated for her birthday by the lovely Bev. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, food was amazing and the fizz offer was much appreciated. Fab evening, brilliant staff, especially Bev. Will I be back, deffo xxxx”

“Lovely Sunday lunch. Treated my mum on Sunday. Got a pork and a beef dinner, came with all the veg but cauliflower cheese and crackling were extra. Really good quality food. Lovely attentative service. Would go back.”

“Nice place, been there few time and tonight went there with our dog, its great at least we dont leave our dog alone at home. “We stopped into William IV for a few drinks when in Mansfield for the weekend. Really warm and welcoming atmosphere when we went in..Cheryl who served us was very friendly as we're Matt and Recbecca (Landlords). Very reasonably priced with great selection of drinks. They had a great live singer on too which was a bonus. Would definitely recommend.”

“Tuesday 17th September 2024 This pub in the centre of Mansfield Woodhouse is a proper locals pub with a lovely outdoor drinking area, and there is a lovely ambuance to the interior drinking areas the landlady was friendly and the 4 hand pumps were well kept acceptable beers”

“I went in with a few friends, always liked going in on a night out staff was helpful i seen a old man in who ask for a texi they got him one and help him in to it. it was nice to see all staff was nice and was joking with all i will be going back”

“The Hare and Hounds has always been a good venue with 2 large ground floor rooms. And a good reputation and atmosphere. It had become run down and the toilets and decor let it down. It has recently been re-furbed and decorated. Toiilets had a make over and now appear pleasant. The function room is great for occasions. I chose this venue warsop spiritualist and psychic group. Landlord and lady Chris and Rachel have been accommodating and involved with our community members.”

“Excellent Sunday lunch. Nice pub with a traditional pub feel, and a dining room facing onto a nice pub garden. Service was friendly and quick. Food was good. Had the trio roast which was tasty. Portion size was excellent (big). Roast had I think three meats, stuffing, roasties, mash, parsnip, carrots, cabbage, leeks and I think peas. Excellent value at 19 quid. I also had a side of pigs in blankets which I really didn't need but where also good. Whilst we don't have dogs, also loved the free doggie treats and water bowls for four legged friends as nice touch you don't often see. This was our first time here and we will definitely be going again.”

“I've literally been here two days in a row, so that says how delicious the food is!!!! The staff were fantastic with service, nothing was too much trouble. A mistake was made and rectified within minutes. The toilets are clean and checked efficiently. The outside seating area and the green views are very pleasant. Great chilled setting, we were here for 3 and a half hours....couldn't believe it. Money Well Spent!! This is absolutely the best pub in Warsop AND surrounding areas. My favourite part about this pub is it's DOG FRIENDLY!!!!!!!”
