“First time here and will be back. Had a good walk around we brought a few bits and pieces from the shops inside the centre also there are a few good cafes. Very nice venue.”

“Lovely little place to visit with shops, a garden nursery and shop, a dog shop and groomers, opticians, massage therapist, jewellers and bistro. We had a meal in the bistro and the food was delicious with generous portions. There is a petting zoo area where you can feed the goats with a donation for a pot of food.”

“We attended the buffet. There were many pizza's to choose from and as soon as one was gone it was replaced immediately. Our waitress Bella was super friendly and happy to help. Ordering is all done through a bar code now and I had some issues Ordering. She was really helpful and patient”

“Just been here for a meal with a friend and the food was absolutely delicious. Lovely fresh ingredients, enjoyed every bit. Had a delicious dessert of apple pie then finished with coffee and Bailey's. The staff are lovely and friendly, the new owner even came and sat with us for a while. Cannot fault at all, and will definitely be going back soon.”

“Enjoyed meal for 2 tonight, mixed kebab starter for two, garlic fusion chicken and a king prawn bhuna with different sides, food was amazing, Anwar the Manager was very warm, welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend and we will definetly return. The waiter was friendly and helpful and the young waiter (fairly new im guessing) was very helpful too. Have already signed up to the curry club. 100% the best Indian we have had in a long while.”

“Called in Monday evening not been for sometime, the food was top quality really well cooked grate menu to select from and very reasonably priced. Had a nice chat with the owner he did remember I used to go quite often on Saturday evenings. Will definitely go back again also the restaurant does take aways.”

“Nicest Chinese in Barnsley! Mixed starter ingredients were restaurant quality and piping hot, satay sauce was amazing. Sweet and sour Hong Kong style and beef in black bean again were really good quality and hot.”

“I had the mixed pork and chicken gyro with fries the fries the crispy on the outside and soft in the inside . The gyro was absolutely sublime so fresh and the were so tender highly recommend coming here”

“Hidden little gem. Room that we had was clean modern and fresh with a good smart TV and even thermostat control for heating. Check in was easy through the link to collect the keys. Tea and coffee, extra comfortable bed and pillows. Really nice place I have stopped in many many rooms and this is up there with the best of them for comfort and safety. Also has its own private secure car park.”

“Excellent food, fantastic quality, well cooked and good portion sizes - we were actually pretty blown away with the value of the meals (especially the lunch menu) The service was a little odd. We went up to the bar to see what drinks were on draught, but were told to sit down and give our orders at our table. We said “no problem we will, we just want to see what drinks are on draught” we were told again very firmly to sit down, that all the drinks were on the menu. Well there was a guest ale available at the bar that was not on the menu, so we asked the waitress whether it was a hoppy pale ale, she said “I have no idea, I don’t drink it” - fine, but can you not ask someone? Offer a taste? Google it? Since we weren’t allowed to stand at the bar I didn’t know its name so couldn’t look it up myself so just found her flippant reply unhelpful and weird. Would recommend a bit of customer service training. Considered a coffee after the meal but a double espresso was £5 which was absolutely laughable - decided against it. A pot of tea the size of my head was £2? Just such random drinks prices compared to the excellent value foods. Overall, I would go back as the food was fantastic and the location was nice for a walk around the nature reserves.”

“One again, another place we have found that you absolutely should not visit ... Because if you do... It will be a lot harder for us to go back again and eat. You really should be going here to eat. The food was outstanding! We tried the Shakshouka, bang bang chicken noodles, aubergine flatbread and a kids pizza (and a selection of drinks) The service was very fast and friendly, we ordered through the QR code menu whilst sitting up stairs. The drinks were with us within a couple mins and the food about 10 minutes after that and all the food came at once. All the dishes were amazingly tasty and so well cooked! Excellent portion sizes where you still had room for a desert if you wanted, but you weren't stuffed to the rafters, which we appreciated! The whole place has a lovely feeling to it and the staff really add to this with how friendly they all are. In drinks: we had a couple of non alcoholic cocktails (pina nolada and the cherry fakewell) they were beautiful, the pinot grigio on offer was probably the nicest my wife has ever had, whilst the iced salted caramel latte was best I've ever had! So please, please avoid going as I would like a chance to go back here sometime soon ha ha. If you haven't been yet... What are you even waiting for! You will not regret it!”

“Great time at psychic night despite one or two guests clearly being haunted by their own misery, with one especially rude to the medium. The shish kebabs were tasty and well presented. I couldn't comment on the other dishes as I didn't try them.”

“I have tried most of the menu and enjoyed every meal. There are many choices at Market kitchens although personally Meze kitchens is my favourite the food looks and tastes amazing. The chicken Shawarma is a my favourite dish however I have enjoyed every meal I have tried at Meze kitchens. Only down side is in the market kitchens seating can be limited at busy times such as weekends, which has a time meant going elsewhere for food at times although this is out of Meze kitchens hands.”

“Very impressed with food quality, quantity and service for Sunday lunch. The vegetarians among us also were complementary. Tastefully decorated, lovely beer (Landlord) and soft furnishings quietened what could have been a noisy venue. Will come back.”
