Celine is really approachable, knowledgeable and professional; she provides a really positive, empowering experience.”

We thoroughly enjoyed browsing through the boutiques, and it was a delight to interact with the passionate owners who take pride in their offerings. As for the eateries, the cafes are charming and well worth a visit, but I have to give a particular shout-out to Cornerstone Gelato. Their ice cream is nothing short of dangerous—amazing flavours that will leave you two stone heavier! The staff are enthusiastic and persuasive, ensuring that you leave with a wider selection than you’d initially intended. It’s a testament to their excellent customer service; just be prepared to indulge a little too much! However, there's potential for even more growth and enrichment at The Yorkshire Hive. Adding a few more small shops could enhance its appeal as a shopping destination, allowing retailers to support one another and create an inviting marketplace atmosphere. Perhaps the Yorkshire Wildlife Park could play a role in this development by offering discount coupons for small businesses in The Hive. Such initiatives would not only bolster the local economy but would also create a community-centric vibe that would attract repeat visitors. After all, every little bit helps, especially for small retailers trying to make their mark. This is a must-visit destination that captivates with its diverse offerings and strong sense of community. “A lovely little Theatre with lots of traditional values. I have been many times and the staff have always been superb. There is great variation in the plays, some serious and some funny. Full bar and lounge in a quaint 70 seat theatre. I have become a member and intend to visit a lot more now. Some great regular actors too.”

“My wife and i took my 5 year old Granddaughter today at the Beverley Parkway Cinema to see the Pantomime Pinocchio. It was very professional and afternoon of fun my Granddaughter loved it . Hopefully we can see the next performance there during Easter would recommend it .”

“I couldn’t recommend Karen at Serenity Therapies enough. I had reiki yesterday for the first time and it was PHENOMENAL - I was so worried I wouldn’t be able to feel anything but my goodness I did. I have a chronic health condition which over the last few years has completed flattened my spirit which is why I wanted to experience reiki. During the session, I could feel such intense warmth from Karen’s energy, I also felt floaty, and I wanted to fall asleep but I was stopping myself so I could enjoy all I was feeling. At one point I felt like I wanted to laugh just because I couldn’t believe how I was feeling and that I was actually FEELING the energy. I can’t wait to book again. When I arrived I felt so welcomed by Karen, her home is so cosy and welcoming. I am a super anxious socially awkward person - but I felt at complete ease. She makes you feel completed comforted so you can take your time and do what you need to do to be comfortable, even things like offering for me to sit down if I needed to put my shoes back on before I left… without that prompt I would have just struggled standing up lol! She just made everything so nice for me. Please if you’re reading this and in two minds, DO IT! Thankyou so much xxx”

It's been difficult as a first time mom to leave my boy at nursery and go to work but the staff at Happy Kids Clifton have been so supportive and they really are brilliant with my boy, I feel confident leaving him there while I go to work. He has so much fun playing with the range of toys and joining in all the activities the staff put on. I would recommend them to any family looking for a friendly local nursery.”

“A fantastic brand new facility! My son had his first swimming lesson there yesterday and loved it. It has only been open for 2 weeks so there are bound to be a few minor teething problems. (Referencing the other review) Parking is 50p for 30mins / £1 per hour which I think is fine for the town. If it was free parking it would be abused.”

“Delicious food, went for a Sunday lunch. We were one of the few tables in there. It’s a small place but loved the William Morris feel to the decor. The food was top notch and so was the service. One of my friends also went for breakfast and said her whole family loved it.”
