“The most underrated takeaway in Retford. Looks a bit ghetto some people might say but food tastes delicious. Food was fresh and nicely cooked. The last chinese takeaway we had a few months ago from a different place in Retford(F) left us very disappointed since it was our favourite place to order from, so we decided to try this one instead for a full meal. So glad we did. We've had the salt&pepper prawns a few times from here before and they're delicious. Will come back again for sure.”

“I live about a mile from Roots,and drive and walk by regularly. But I never noticed it. Now, I call in quite regular for a cappuccino which is to die for. It is so creamy and tasty. It beats C@%&A and the like any day. I have never tried the food, but what I have seen looks very tasty. The staff are very polite and friendly. The premises is quite large, and there is a decent size room for private functions. The single use toilet is always very clean. There is parking to the front. All in all a great place for a meet up with friends for a catch up and a coffee and a snack. Opening times. Sunday closed. Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm. Saturday 9am to 2pm Closed Bank Holidays. Except school holidays. 9am to 2pm.”

“Wow. They just get better and better. Tried a new one tonight, Chicken Lahori Masala. Packed with chicken that melts in the mouth, followed up by a sauce that has a bit of a kick, but not overpowering. Then the sweetness of the caramelised onions and condensed milk comes through. Definitely a new favourite of mine. Kids had their usual favourite of chicken korma. Again, packed with tender chicken and creamy sauce. Absolutely the best takeaway around.”

“Beautiful restaurant with lovely owner and amazing Pizzas!!!!! We had the special stake pizza, goats cheese pizza and had some drinks! The price was great and we also had some lovely gelatos that were great quantity :) The restaurant was full but they called us for when the space was empty and it was great :)!! “We recently visited Sheffield and discovered this lovely Taiwanese restaurant, and we're so glad we did! The food here is really delicious and authentic. We tried the fried chicken bento, spicy braised beef brisket, fried tofu, and of course, a classic bubble tea - we loved everything! The food was full of flavor and you can really tell that the owners pour their heart into every dish they make. Plus, the Taiwanese vintage wallpaper inside was such a nice touch. It just reminded me of home. The owner is super friendly and was so helpful especially since we were traveling with our baby. Overall, it was such a wonderful experience at Yum Yum Bites, and we highly recommend it!”

All the meat was SO tender, jerk chicken fell off the bone with tons of flavour, mutton curry was just a great comforting mutton curry!
