“This little pub is Northwoods best kept secret located in Vincent Street off the busy main road a great place to make a call for a drink or two with its friendly publican and welcoming atmosphere it's a nice place to while away the hours. I would highly recommend this great little pub for a visit with its great kept ales and warm atmosphere your sure to feel welcome and be sure to make a return visit.”

“What an absolute delight this amazing place is. You first enter and think it’s a butchers then there is a shop which has stopped in time only to discover the museum gosh it took me back to a very young girl! We then approached the cheese section, I was salivating only to then go to the most quaint ordering counter and place our breakfast order which all the meat came from the butchers at the front off the shop ! The breakfast was truly amazing we had the full English breakfast , my son and I had the omelet with everything and we left with very contented tummies and a shopping bag full of lovely goodies bought from the shop & cheese from their own counter my only regret was that I didn’t buy their last home made pork pie ! So I will have to go back This truely is an amazing spot to go to you will not be disappointed”

“Cracking little pub. Recently refurbished including jukebox and live sport. Its not tied to a brewery so a decent range of good beers at a decent price. The landlady's zero tolerance on drugs and an ethos of clean bogs and a clean pint really shine through to make for a very pleasant evening.”

“9am on Sunday morning we had a brilliant cooked breakfast for two, with toast and coffee for £17 - the owner even gave us a sausage for our dog! Top class nosh, just the job! And there was parking right outside big enough for our campervan. Take cash (there's a machine in the Coop 2 min away).”

“I took my granddaughter (20 months) here for the first time last week. A warm welcome from Hollie and a lovely session with plenty of toys. Great to see suggestions on the wall to support your child’s development in each area and my granddaughter particularly enjoyed the sensory room. We will be visiting again.”

She arranged early check in for us to store our luggage ahead of a wedding, she left some cute thoughtful touches in the room for the bride to be, and delivered breakfast early for us. “Visited Zap this week for lunch and wasn’t disappointed. Had a bacon and cheese toastie and my friend had a cheese and onion toastie, both very tasty. There was a nice selection of cakes available too. We had a tea and a latte, both good. Lots of people in there, it looks well supported by local people. Friendly service by the owner Asma, who was busy on a Monday lunchtime. We will return and I would recommend.”
