βWalked into a very traditionally styled pub/restaurant. Bar staff were very friendly with quick service on a Friday afternoon. Ordered food and drinks. Of course we got a great offer with a full card of stamps from the loyalty app. Food service was quick and servers were super friendly and couldn't do enough for us. I'd like to give them ladies a special mention and thank you for making our visit very pleasant indeed. Overall very pleased and shall be returning soon.β
βWeβve finally found our favorite spot in Shrewsburyβand itβs The Boathouse! This place truly has it all: breathtaking views, a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, and delicious food and drinks. The location is unbeatable, right by the river with picture-perfect views of the water and the bridge. On sunny days, thereβs nothing better than sitting outside, soaking up the sunshine with a cold beer or cider in hand. Itβs so peaceful watching the ducks and swans glide by, birds flying overhead, and people kayaking along the river. It really gives you that holiday feeling without ever leaving town. On our first visit, I tried lamb for the very first time and went for the Moroccan Lamb Tagineβabsolutely packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. We also had the BH Burger, which was juicy, tasty, and very satisfying. The food overall was fantastic and clearly made with care. The staff were friendly and attentive from the bar to the table. The whole experienceβfrom the scenic setting to the great food and top-notch serviceβmade it one of those places you want to come back to again and again. Whether youβre local or just visiting Shrewsbury, The Boathouse is a must-visit. We enjoyed every minute spent there and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend!β
βNipped in today with my friend for the "create your own breakfast" we both chose the 10 item breakfast for Β£5.70....bargin. Food spot on (really yummy) and nice and hot too. Food prepared right in front of you on a griddle, nothing is fried. Note: proper sausage on breakfast not them plastic tasting ones that contain 1% pork and 99% of unknown substances. Also homemade pies and cakes, they do daily specials too. Only thing I would say is it would be delightful to see black pudding on the breakfast menu. That would make Michelles day. :-Dβ

βWe received such a warm and friendly welcome from both staff and clients at this locals bar in the middle of town, that despite us only popping in for a quick pint, ended up staying for several pints of their well kept Bass ale.β

βVisited for the first time today after recommendation by our daughter. Had a mega breakfast and a large breakfast which included toast and hot drinks. Food was hot, tasty and well presented and two large empty plates later says it all. Staff are really friendly and helpful and there's ample parking outside. Will definitely be here again soon and have already recommended it to others. Keep up the great work.β

βAs its attatched to sainsburys its entrance is used by a lot of people using the supermarket, every time I go in its a struggle to fund a seat as I see on quite a few tables -1 person 1 laptop but taking a whole table with all their paperwork & backpack on the seat next to them. I've seen on 2 occasions a theft from sainsburys & they cut through Starbucks to get away quickly. I think it should have been placed where the old sainsburys cafe was. Even half of that space would be twice the size it is at the moment.β
βMike Iβm here to show my full support against the patronising Peta trying to tell you how to run your business. Donβt give in, Iβm sure all the community will be with you to respect your decision. All the best for you, James and staff :)β
