“We enjoyed our stop off at the Pool Dole, it was my brother's birthday and we went in for a few drinks in the lounge. There was a band setting up and during setting up they did a couple of part sets and they sounded very good, we will be back soon with our partners.”

“Great local pub . Good selection of beers and spirits and not too badly priced . You pay less than a fiver for a premium pint which is pretty good in the times we are at !! They usually have so.e live entertainment on too, be it a vocalist, a disco or a karaoke . The pub has a pool table in a separate room which is easily accessible the other side of the pub. It's a great pub and a great atmosphere, it's also open late Friday and Saturday. Would reccomend”

“To say the Sunday lunch was good would be an understatement. Plenty of meat, vegetables cooked the way I love them, oceans of gravy. The only issue was the impossible to open condiment sachets, but the very friendly staff sorted that out for me. Apple and blackberry crumble lovely. Will be coming back soon”

“I came back to Stoke after a year away, ended up heading down after a recommendation from some friends, the landlady straightaway made me feel welcome and added to the great atmosphere overall. Good prices on drinks, has great entertainment nights like Karaoke etc and overall, just a great place to go to relax and hang out with friends. Highly recommended, it is my new go to local now I am back in Stoke.”

“Where do we start? Thank you, thankyou Zoe and the team for hosting our daughters wedding 27.6.25. Nothing was too much trouble.. everyone was so friendly, the pub was decorated to perfection in a relaxed country floral theme. The flowers decorating the venue were stunning. The food was plentiful, utterly delicious and presented beautifully. There were so many little personal touches that completed the day .The dj kept everyone on the dance floor and again nothing was too much trouble. The Windmill is a real gem..thankyou xx”

“Came in on the 29/09/25 around 13:30. Ordered a drink and a buffalo burger. Honestly best hot and spicey burger I've had in a long time. Had the same burger in other spoons and have been very disappointed. Who every was in the kitchen. They understand hot to make a burger listed on the menu as hot, HOT!”

“Went today 1/10/25 for carvery lunch. Not been the Plough for a couple of years. The bar staff friendly. The carvery selection was excellent and nice and hot. Also I noticed the server of carvery was checking the meats with a thermometer and writing it down. The waitress Emma was very friendly. We will recommend the Plough and most certainly be returning again.”

“Hasn't changed a bit. From when drank here in younger years, a great pint and other craft ales. Not been here for 30 years plus. And sadly came here after just last week burying my sister. But still a good calm place to come. Pool is cheap. Will be taking my son here, as he loves pool. 50p a go. Other pub games on offer. But yeah. Good old white Hart.”

It's been busy with no drama everytime I've been! Loads of offers on drinks that are reasonably priced. Overall, a very well ran pub!”

“Thank you for a great New Year’s Eve! Absolutely a faultless meal, service and great atmosphere. The food was just a yummy experience from start to finish with big portions. They fit us in last minute due to us being let down in another place, and we were very welcomed. It was our first time and we didn’t know what to expect, however we will definitely be back for other occasions. Prices very good too, a vast selection of drinks and cocktails, plenty of parking, and cozy seats, with fire lit.”

“Amazing buffet and room for my Mums wake last Friday. Food all fresh and delicious, plenty of it at a great price too. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they were very attentive to our needs. All attendees commented on how nice the wake was.
