βFantastic Pub the new Landlady has brought it back to life by working with the community to put on events they are looking for as well as great entertainment. The pub is now a community hub with lots going on and everyone looks out for each other by working with the community and respecting their needs Claire has really started to make a big difference locally and it is definitely 1000% better than I have ever seen it.β

βGood staff, great food this time around! Our whole party enjoyed the experience! Another visit, same excellent experience. Love coming here! 24 June 2023 Another visit but not so good this time. Below par food from the vegetarian menu with ingredients missing from the salad. Really quiet but the service was also a bit lacklustre. Ordered from the app at the table which is a worrying experience as it often tries to order the mains again when you add food was a little below par. 19 Oct 2024 Another visit with my father in law and although the bar and waiting staff were as excellent as always the standard of the food is dropping rapidly. So few flavoursome filling vegetarian options I reverted to fish and chips again and yet again the fish was overcooked (our last visit had the same problem and when asked by the waitress if it was alright was told by her several had been sent back that lunchtime). Is this a kitchen staffing problem or is the frozen battered fish they use just poor quality?β
βOur first visit here a czhange of location to meet with family, i read some reviews and was happy to change locations. We ordered 6 different meals, we did wait about 40 mins for service to arrive, a bit longer than I would have expected however we weren't disappointed the food arrived hot and was delicious. " i would recomend the pie " but in fairness all my family did enjoyed their choices, the staff were attentive throughout which was pleasing . I asked my family of their thoughts and it was thumbs up to return on our next get together.β
βOld school pub, great vibes, lovely bar staff and even better food! Food was piping hot, delicious and generous portions.β
βPark Life CafΓ© is inside the beautiful Queen's Park which is a quiet, well-maintained and beautiful park at Crewe. It's a wonderful place to chill out with family, friends and pets on the weekends. I have been there several times and always enjoyed my coffee in the midst of the natural surroundings. The food and lovely ambience makes this place worthwhile not one but multiple visits !β
βWe have been coming to Costa for many years. The best part isnβt really the coffee, itβs the staff. These are some of the nicest people you will ever meet; being super kind and friendly, and making some of the best drinks you will ever drink. They are the reason that Costa tastes better, because itβs the dedication and love into coffee making thatβs the secret ingredient to a better drink. Sadly, the βchainβ itself, or its higher management so to speak, has made decisions in recency that leave you feeling a bit cheaped out on. Over the years we have noticed steady price increases (even befor the cost of living and inflation). While there is something to be said about struggling business these days, Costa is by no means small and they are owned by Coca-Cola. They are not struggling for money. Furthermore, shortly after a recent price hike for all of the food at Costa, Costa started taking out sausages from their Sausage baps to go from 4 to 3. They then made them smaller only a few months later. This is a blatant cash grab and a cheap out from Costas executives and it is especially upsetting given there was no price reduction to make up for it. We recently also found out that these same executives are now not allowing stores to sell their leftover pastries at 50% off in order to clear them out, but rather throw them away if they arenβt sold at full price. This is a total waste and is a shame since these pastries can be quite expensive and they still get money with a sale rather than the bin. No blame can be put on their staff, they are doing their best and put effort into making the experience as good as it can be, but the higher management at Costa are only looking for a higher profit line, and it shows.β
βGreat pub, lovely staff and dog friendly. Visiting while on a mini break and would recommendβ
β2025 Works Christmas meal with 39 of us planned well in advance. We were pleasantly impressed with welcoming staff and tasty food, the meals were hot and generous portions. Even with the large group to manage the staff kept smiling while matching meals with the right names. Each course came pretty swiftly so everyone had food at similar timings. A separate server sorted everyone with drinks throughout. On the whole a solid experience. We learnt later the meals weren't a seasonal menu - but a weekly roast which you could have the same on another visit, which i may come back with the family to be fair. (thank you for a great evening)!β
βOver all a very good pub. Polite staff, good music and fairly priced drinks. Had a good couple nights out here xβ

βThe best soft play centre weβve been to in 10 years worth of visits as grandparents. Brilliant staff, good parking, great layout, good child visibility, spotlessly clean and good affordable choice of food and drinks. Well done Just Kidding. Weβll be back!β
βVery good and fresh cooked food. You will always have part of a warm welcome. Staff is very amiable and they always try to offer you the best service and help you choose the best dishes for your taste. Is the second time when I was there and definitely not the last. It is not a big restaurant but they act like one. I recommend you to go and try there delicious Turkish food and I'm sure if it's the first time for you, it won't be the last. Congratulations for your food and hospitality.β
βWe have visited on many occasions now and have never been disappointed. This place is such a refreshing change to other cafes in the area. Fab relaxed, down to earth atmosphere and top quality food and ingredients cooked to perfection. I would definitely say today's bacon roll was the best I have devoured. Our little retreat when we have a minute away from work or kids!!!β
