“The most perfect wedding venue. From the outset of booking this venue Jose was there guiding us through everything we needed to know - not just about the venue, but advice on photographers and the actual ceremony expectations. The venue and grounds are simply stunning, you’d have never known we were so close to Stone centre! We were very lucky to get married outside and it was breathtaking, our wedding breakfast took place upstairs and it had its rustic charm with the beams and wheel, again, with lots of our guest commenting how lovely it was to see the character of the building. The food was unreal, one of the biggest compliments post wedding we got was about how amazing the food was especially the paella! Jose, his sister and all his family & workers that help run The Mill truly make it the wonderful, stress free and magical place to get married. I cannot recommend this place enough!”

It isn't very often a Restaurant ticks all the boxes but this one does Great food Pleasant and very friendly staff. And best of all value for money. Good disabled access entry from the main street out of the car into the building. Please make the staff aware of your needs when booking your table. The Crown carpark is at the rear, a quick 2 min walk over the road well sign posted and it's only a £1 after six Thank You for a great evening and we will be going back.”

“This was my 2nd visit to blame frida and have loved it on both occasions. The nut roast & veggie burger are definitely worth trying. Fresh ingredients, well cooked and a lovely atmosphere. Will be returning to try more from a great menu x”

“Had a lovely weekend stay here with my partner. We had our own private patio and garden which was really romantic. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the service was excellent. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were well maintained. I'd definitely go back. Highly recommended.”

“Work in Stone a couple of days per week so have been coming in for my lunch. Lunchtime offers are great. Soft drink and a meal for just under 8 quid! Drink served within a couple of minutes to the table and the food is always quick as well! Longest I’ve waited is about 5 minutes for my food. Great service”

“First time ordering from here as I’m definitely not a takeaway person and the worst critic. I can honestly say in my 5 years working at this location I have not had a better meal. I had got late order g for my Iftar so in my wait I had munched on snacks so when the food arrived I thought I will take it home and eat later but when I open it to take a look it was so amazing and the daal was just like home made the kebab on naan was really flavourful and packed with salad. Exactly how I wanted it.so I ate again. Will deffinatly be ordering from here again.”

“First time to this eatery, we had a shared platter between myself and the wife and we were not disappointed. For dessert I had the walnut sponge with syrup and vanilla ice-cream, and my wife had the orange sponge with syrup and vanilla ice-cream, with deserts were excellent. We will be calling again very soon.”

“my boyfriend and i went here for lunch today, and it was an amazing experience! we are not from the area, but were traveling through and decided to stop for a quick bite to eat, and it did not disappoint! we ordered the hawaiian pizza and garlic cheesy bread, but would recommend any pizzas, very tasty! the service was wonderful, all staff was so kind and helpful! please make sure to stop here if you’re in the area, it’s worth it!”

“We have been regulars for several months now and we absolutely love coming here. It's not just a great cafe but a business we really value as part of our community here in Stone. We always feel welcome and the owners go out of their way to make you feel at home. We've tried most things on the menu and everything we've had has been delicious and of great quality - coffee, cakes, full English, veggie breakfast, baps and more. It doesn't get better than that!”

“first time visited, arrrived 1:50pm on Wednesday, all desserts are £5 only. the service was good and the food that we ordered were tasty. buffalo chicken wings almost charged £1 per wing. the confit belly pork, steak pie and sea baa were delicious. both crumbles and sticky toffee pudding with custard were values for money (£5 per dessert on wednesday)”

“Went here on Saturday night while visiting family in the area. We are from Vale of Glamorgan in Wales. Food was delicious and very generous portions. I had lamb potato chops for starter. I can absolutely recommend this. For my main I had the Bombay Salmon Tikka. This is new to the menu and I can honestly say it was the tastiest meal I have eaten for a long time. The staff were so polite and friendly. Service was amazing. Thank you x”

“Hands down the best place we’ve ever been too ! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was amazing and the staff made us feel so welcome. The food was absolutely delicious. The drinks were amazing, never seen nothing like it we had such a good time ( who ever comes up with these ideas is amazing) The atmosphere was unreal, such a fun and lively place with great music(including Xmas music) You could really tell they care about giving people a great experience, when wr came for our booking it was really busy but the staff handled it perfectly. Honestly, this is the best place we’ve been for a while in stone, and it completely exceeded our expectations. We’re already planning our next visit couldn’t recommend it enough! Next time I think we’re going to book for bottomless brunch! Thanks guys, merry Christmas”

“Beautiful country pub! We had a family dinner here, 15 of us across 4 generations, and it was excellent for all of us! The staff were attentive, despite it being a busy Sunday afternoon, with lots of other groups in too. What a beautiful, atmospheric place! Welcoming, clean, accessible, and busy - we'll definitely be back again soon.”

“We came as a family group of 6 and a toddler for a 60th birthday party on Saturday evening. The food and service was excellent. I don’t know the name of the waitress but she was exceptional. It was very busy but she still managed to be efficient, calm and find time to listen and talk to us in addition to having to rearrange the tables for another party. Our booking was under the name of Shaw so please thank the amazing young lady.”

“Service has been amazing. Nice and cool on a hot day, thanks for that. Food has been very good. Cocktails varied and novel. Can see why it is busy, and why everyone has a smile in their face. Price is decent, probably on the slight higher side, but certainly worth it. I’m not from around here, but I’d come back if I was, and can see why the locals frequent here. A little treasure on the Staffordshire waterways!”
