“I really like this store as it has everything that you would ever need to use in a kitchen, they have some really different gadgets to buy. The knives they sell are really good, not cheap but well worth the money as you'll never have to buy any again. Their pans are also excellent & will last you a lifetime. It's just a great shop to mooch around in, one of my favourites.”

“I think since we moved here we are very impressed with the range and prices I have read a review that had me in stitches a lady saying staff were hitting her and told her to get out because she took a paper down I can not see any shop attacking a customer I'm sure if this did happen there would be police and witnesses... laughable...staff are lovely friendly and helpful not many places left where you find staff smiling and being helpful”

“Some great bargains to be had every single time you shop here. It's possible to get pretty much everything you need to feed a family on a budget. Although the Biddulph store I also visit on occasion is one of the smaller ones it still stocks a good varied range of essentials at great prices from food to simple household goods, beauty products and cleaning materials. The staff aren't particularly friendly as they get on with their work but neither are they downright ignorant like some staff in larger supermarkets that you would expect more from for the prices you pay.”

Busiest I've ever seen and queues at checkouts were long but shelves still well stocked and managers/ supervisors were organising more tills to be opened thanked everybody for waiting and even came round offering customers sweets. I honestly didn’t think true perfection in service existed, but I have no complaints whatsoever. Every detail they promised was fulfilled: the delivery timeframe, clear communication, careful handling of the appliance, removal of all packaging, and a thorough explanation of how to use the machine. The two young gentlemen who handled the delivery were courteous, professional, and patient in answering all my questions with calmness and honesty. It’s rare to find such a complete, premium level of service at such a competitive price—something even larger companies often fail to deliver. “Great shopping as usual in £land. Check your prices though before adding to your trolley. Everything is not £1. Still value for money though. One member of staff was rude to myself and another customer this time because there wasn't a price on the item of clothing we wanted to purchase and told us to go and get one with a price as she couldn't leave the till area we both had the last item though and she couldn't be bothered to type the code in off the item so we had to wait. Also there was supposed to be 10% knocked off my item and we asked someone to do this and she just scanned the label that was on the item and didn't knock it off.”

“I took my car here as my headlight wire had burned out and needed replacing. Initially they said they couldn't help, but one chap came along and said he would have a look. Within 15 mins he had replaced the burned wire and put in a new bulb for me! He was really friendly and helpful! I didn't catch his name but he honestly made my weekend! Will certainly be back!”
