“Stopped for a meal and a quick pint when passing through. Was extremely busy there were enough staff to ensure nobody is left waiting. Staff were all extremely pleasant and welcoming. I really enjoyed the food. A deveng variety. J went with my partner and kids - all are fussy eaters but there was something for everyone. Prices of meals varied between around 15 and 18 quid, steak a bit more. Really good value for money with the quality and size of the meals provided”

“Have been staying in the one of the a cottages for a month while waiting for a house to go through. Cottage perfect, has all amenities needed plus a great welcome package. Outside jacuzzi which wasn't on with it being late autumn but would be lovely in the hot weather. The owner Jane is so nice and provided us with clean bedding and towels each week. If we were moving away I would definitely stay here to visit our family.”

“Alex and team always look after Pip so well. We use both the Day Care and boarding and know how safe and happy Pip is when she is here. Alex’s knowledge of dogs is exceptional, has supported us in how to adapt to support Pip at home but also created such a great environment for the dogs. “This delightful hotel set in stunning countryside provide lovely comfortable rooms. The whole atmosphere of the place is peaceful and "countryfied" well suited to its rural setting. The restaurant has a goiod choice of food and both our choices were delicious and good value for money. Great real ale too served in the cosy bar area. First class.”

“Went in to new Hayes shop in Crewe (old Thomas Cook shop) as I knew Ali who used to work at Star travel now works there, and as always had my holiday sorted out to suit every requirement I wanted, just couldn't do enough. “Northwood were recommended to me by a friend who had previously used them, I am so glad she did. I dealt mostly with George who was very approachable, professional and helpful in steering me through the process of selling and completing on my late Mum's house. They dealt with all the viewings and kept me fully informed of any feedback and offers made. All other staff I spoke to were equally helpful. I would not hesitate in recommending Northwood to anyone wishing to sell a property anf have already done so.”

“Had a lovely comfortable stay. We were in the coach house very clean bed comfortable but could do with a lick of paint & some attention to the Bathroom. Breakfast was lovely fresh & very filling. The Staff upon arrival & through out our stay were Brilliant! Excellent customer service so friendly. We will be back.”

“We've just spent 5 nights in the Byley suite at this lovely hotel. I can't fault it in any way. It's very clean and comfortable. The staff are all friendly and attentive. The breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. The grounds and outside spaces are attractive and well maintained and there's plenty of parking available.”

“Having played here multiple times in the past, at least 20 and always enjoyed it. I’ve not played at Malkins Bank Golf Course for about four years until today. I knew by the website that there were new owners and they understood the trial ahead of them to get this once great course back to its best. The new style club house is superb. More modern, welcoming and solid range of food and drink. Driving range is closed due H&S reasons, but not current owners fault. The course is still great to play. Undulating, narrow in places, risk and reward, and fun packed holes. Yes, the fairways and greens need work, but once again I knew this from the website and still thought £25 was a good price for the round. A good green keeper will need at least 12 - 18 months to work the magic, but it will be worth it. Today was the most fun I’ve had playing golf in a long time. Thank you.”

“Once we found the place it was lovely, with wonderful views,very clean and homely, room was great, very comfotable, and the full english breakfast was a bonus,the owners were very polite and accommodating, I would definitely recommend a stay there.”
