“All perfect from beginning to end, shown to our room which was clean and smart. Good selection of beers in the bar itself. And the breakfast was simple but more than adequate for the onward journey. Top marks all round.”

“Took my daughter out for lunch. We had sausage / bacon sandwiches, drinks and cake. We received a warm welcome and the foid, which was excellent arrived promptly. Will certainly be back to try more of the delicious sandwiches and cake.”

“My little one loves going here. They have a wonderful mix of farm animals, which you can feed (the animal food to cheap here compared to other places). They also offer lamb milk feeding which is so cute. They have a barn with cars and bits in, a lovely park and a woods to walk through which help to provide variety and extend you visit. The food and drink is good quality (they have a variety of home baked goods) and for low prices.”

“A great little spot. We had the traditional breakfast and it was very nice. Reasonably priced. Others tell us the breakfast baps are also great. Service was very helpful and friendly. Beautiful little spot for a sunny morning, over looking the lock. Also dog friendly. All the locals were also very friendly. Would definitely go back.”

“No nonsense food. Much wider range than the standard cafe 3 item - busy and they warned up front about a delay - nonetheless food arrived quickly and exactly to order. This is a second visit and I would come again.”

“How much cheese?! This has to be one of the best finds for me ... Drinks & Bites is simply a gem that I will be coming back to when I am visiting Middlewich for work. The New York Deli sandwich is just pure perfection with a tonne of heavenly melted cheese, and it may look small and basic on the outside, but boy, it was anything but! The two ladies serving and making the food were so lovely and very welcoming, investing time in their customers and having a nice chat while the food was being made up from scratch! Highly recommend. Get your butt's here for an epic sandwich/toastie and support local!”

“Nice relaxing cafe. Had baguette and a brew. Very nice and fresh and reasonable prices. Other items worth trying so will definitely be back one lunchtime to sample. Some cafes are noisy with coffee machines etc but this wasn't. Thumbs up from me.”

“Actually so surprised by the quality of this food! We ordered on deliveroo and we weren't sure we're the cafe was we were ordering from but usually we expect messy delivery and bad quality food. (From places we've ordered from in crewe before) the food was well packaged and sealed well! Still hot and the quality was so amazing! Thick bacon! Juicy sausages! Everything tasted amazing! The eggs were perfect! I took a picture halfway through eating because I forgot to when it came because it looked so yummy! We will DEFINITELY be ordering again! Well done glo!”

“Run by local residents, which is always a bonus, not sure but I think they are actually volunteers. The breakfast was lovely and your drink comes with it. Excellent value for money and lovely friendly people who work there. We'll worth a visit.”

“Since the new management has come in, the menu has expanded a fair bit but the food is delicious. I really enjoy the breakfast wrap and the option to add or take away items is great. Its very fairly priced and they also make delicious hot drinks. The staff are very approachable and attentive.”

“Was at a biker rally in Bignall End and wanted a brekky on Saturday morning. Walked into Audley and had a superb full English with oatcakes. Nicely cooked, good ingredients and great value for money. I ate the lot and washed it down with a mug of tea. Perfect. Really good service and the owners and staff were all really friendly. If I`m ever back in the area I would not hesitate to go back here. Top place.”
