Fantastic variety of Unique Ales and Wines I’m not sure who sourced all of these ales but they’re very resourceful lol I loved the Bitburger shandy ( low alcohol but very fruity taste ) Will definitely revisit soon Ps the High Leigh locals are so so friendly as well”

“Been to the Old town vaults a few times. Always great well kept ales. Called in on a Saturday afternoon in September. I had the Joules peach lager for the first time. Was a well good tasty ale. The pub was fairly quiet as to be expected in the mid afternoon. Music at a respectable volume. Will be back again soon. Keep up the good work.”

“A very old tiny little pub, struggling to keep up with the modern pubs of today. No meals ... Just a great little boozer for sampling a great pint. Keep these authentic little pubs open, by going along and helping to support them. You might find some great conversation instead of food and wi-fi. You might really enjoy a proper handpulled pint too.”

“What a wonderful stay we had at The Tawny.We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary and wanted somewhere special,where we could relax in nature. The meet and greet was great with Darren taking us to the Glade shepherd hut.A charming guy and extremely friendly. The service throughout was attentive but unpretentious We were particularly impressed with front of house during our 2 evening meals in the Plumbicorn restaurant. “We had an amazing stay at the Tythe Barn House! We stayed in The Granary with 2 adults and 3 kids! Had a little front room kitchen, toilet and two bedrooms! Nice cosy little cottage! The host was lovely and she made us all very welcome! Cooked us a great breakfast in the morning! PS the local dominos delivers here which I is handy”

“This was a fantastic little find for a last minute trip with the family. The apartment was spacious, spotlessly clean and had absolutely everything we needed. The hot tub was a perfect addition which we enjoyed in the evenings. Wifi in the apartment also. Surrounding area is beautiful. Close to farm shop cafe for a beautiful breakfast. Very close to Alton Towers. Will be back for definite. The hosts are excellent, they really have a beautiful home and we're grateful to you.”

Breakfast selection was good, choosing the day before of a variety of options - on top of that there was yoghurt, fruit, cereal and fruit juice available. The extra little touches such as fresh milk and muffins are the things that make an already good place a great place to stay!”

“What an amazing stay, Julie's hospitality from when we arrived until our departure. The room was spotless, the bed super comfortable even the sheets had a fantastic fresh smell. The breakfast is fit for a king, I couldn't finish it all but was really tasty. The shower was powerful with plenty hot water. If your in the area its the place to stay.”

“I have been regularly staying at this block of apartments since August 2022 due to long-term work commitments in the area. The apartments are consistently of a high standard—always clean, tidy, comfortable and spacious. The owners are friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any needs. Most of the apartments offer off-road parking at the rear of the property. For the one without, free overnight parking is typically available on the street between 6:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Additionally, the nearby Tesco supermarket provides three hours of free parking, with paid options for extended stays. The location is excellent—just a short walk from Stafford town center and directly across the road from a large Tesco supermarket. Stafford train station is also conveniently located within a five-minute walk. This is an outstanding place to stay, whether you’re visiting Stafford for leisure or working in the area.”

“Just spent an absolutely magical weekend at Ecopod holidays! We went with a group of friends and booked the whole site out for a fairy themed birthday party. Craig (owner) has just built a pizza oven which he showed us how to use and we made delicious wood fire pizza two of the nights. About 20ish mins away we booked onto some water sports at carsington water which was so fun and beautiful. There also some nice pubs, walks nearby, some of the group went to Alton towers which was really near by. Aldi and a Starbucks not far away either maybe 20-30 mins? We didn’t get time but when we come back next year Craig told us about a cute town called Ashbourne with some nice shops and places to eat. All the pods were unique and cosy. The settle which Craig told us was new was a great space to hang out especially when it’s raining. We spent most of the time hanging out by the communal fire pit, but each pod also had its own fire pit and picnic benches. There was also a ping pong table which was great fun. I can’t express how gorgeous the site as too, felt very back to nature and there’s loads of amazing wildlife and even spotted a few birds of prey! Craig was super accommodating and there when we needed anything. Great host and lovely site. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to come back next year! Thank you!”

“We’ve just arrived home from a fabulous stay here. We arrived after a long trip up from Plymouth to be met with tea and homemade cake by Mike and a room upgrade. The room was lovely and absolutely spotless and the bed was very comfortable.The breakfast next morning was absolutely fantastic and Mike gave us a lift to Nelson’s distillery for the gin school. At the end of the day Mary came and picked us up and we went back to find the log burner in the lounge lit and had a nice few hours resting in the lounge. They had made a reservation for us in the local village pub which was superb. The breakfast this morning was wonderful again and we would highly recommend a stay here. We just need to find more reasons to come up north again! Thanks again for a fantastic weekend.”

The views were great the barn got nice and warm with the heater and Wifi so I could uploads my pictures. Alison was lovely too had lots of information and was nice to chat too. They came out to quote, when they said they would & were always helpful & informative, when we went in to the showroom, with our questions etc When it came time to carry out the renovation, it all started & ended as planned / informed The fitter (Ian) very experienced, who worked diligently throughout the days, to complete, with minimal disruption to ourselves Overall, extremely happy with the end result, the transformation on the kitchen was amazing, Highly Recommended Thank you Darren & Sharon for everything”
