A lovely lady called Cerys then followed that up via text & email and a reminder was sent just prior to the appointment to see if it was still OK to attend. Following the valuation, I requested for it to be sent in writing and again, this was done very promptly, with no pressure to use them for a sale. The staff are always professional, and although I’ve seen many new faces over time, every team member who has helped me has been friendly, knowledgeable, and approachable. They’re also very efficient at getting medication in stock if it isn’t available right away, which I really appreciate. The bargain shelves are a great addition for the community, and I used to enjoy the accessory stands they had — it would be great to see those return. “We had our wedding reception here in July. We chose Goldstone as all the staff were very relaxed and accommodating - it didn't feel like a wedding factory. They catered to all our needs and nothing was too much to ask. They were responsive to our many many emails in the lead up to the day. On the day everything ran smoothly and we were subtly guided by the staff. All our guests had a wonderful time, they really enjoyed exploring the gardens and were very complimentary about the food (those with dietary requirements felt very catered for). The rooms were large and comfortable and guests all said they had a great night sleep. We would 100% recommend here for a wedding or special event.”
