“This is always a tidy and clean store, with helpful staff, it is well stocked and checkout is generally quite fast as well. Extra tills are opened swiftly if a queue forms. There is a good variety of items in store including middle isle special buys, special themes of food such as the recent Greek event, and the bakery is always a crowd pleaser! The bakery items are always soft and fresh, and great quality/size for the prices. I don't do a weekly shop here, but I stop in on my way past regularly for specific items such as lunches, drinks, snacks or to buy items from the special buys that I have seen advertised.”

“Always been a fan of Aldi, this one is a good size and I have always found the staff to be pleasant and helpful. Not all the foodstuffs are as good as branded, some in my opinion, are better, and the ones I don't like I don't buy. Can't beat the meat and veg and I can recommend the éclairs! Parking is ample and they recycle soft plastic. Definitely worth a visit.”

“Looking for a pre show meal? You could do no better than eat here. The service was polite, attentive but never intrusive. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and the food was incredible. Cooked fresh to order and beautifully presented. Loved the theatre too of being able to see the pizza oven in action. Probably the best dining experience we have enjoyed for a long time.”

“I've been here several times now. The fataya is pretty good but the schwarma especially the mixed one is amazing. There's never really a queue when I go in the evenings and it's usually a quiet relaxed atmosphere which is perfect for me.. The guys are friendly, and the portions are generous and filling. I'd definitely recommend it especially if you want a quick bite before catching the train as it's literally a few minutes walk away.”

“Glad I found this place since moving into the area. But it stops me trying other places because it always so good. Stuffed crust Hawaiian for me every time. Mango peri strips are next level to. Tried the wings once. That was a meh. Sometimes the pizza comes a little cold. But they are always fast and the food taste great.”

“Visited for lunch on a Thursday afternoon. The menu is diverse and the food is excellent. Service was mixed - one of the waitresses was good but the other wasn’t great (ignored us at the bar etc). But overall a good experience and we’d definitely return!”

“Just spent a night at the 'Spitfire' Premier Inn, Stafford. Stay was to the standard advertised & expected, although no capacity for hot breakfast due to a restaurant refurb BUT crossed the road & used 'Hurricane' Premier Inn & breakfasted there! I'd mention Sharon on reception at Spitfire who was genuinely welcoming when we first arrived & couldn't do enough to help us (to locate earlier arrived friends, direct us to a wedding venue & advise re local taxi's etc. Such a lovely lady).”

“As Weary Travellers staying in Leek (At The Green Man) for 1 Night after a long Day at Alton Towers with a Hungry 5 year old in tow, not knowing anywhere to eat, l ended up searching for a nearby takeaway, and using Google maps & Turkish Delights popped up followed their reviews & my Nose & can honestly say this place lives up to the reviews, the food was cooked fresh, substantial & importantly reasonable having been fleeced by Merlin Entertainment All Day Long was very welcome to my wallet. We ordered Pizzas which were delicious & with friendly Staff! Well done guys keep it up! If we ever return to Leek again next time I would like to try the Burgers & Kebabs! Simon from Brighton”

“Always a great night in Level 2. People in the is always a great mix and lots of friendly faces. Great music and the occasional superstar providing the entertainment. The best place in town for drinks in to the early hours.”

“I ordered fish n peas. It was very good. Crunchy batter at the ends of the fish & it was cod! Check out the pics. Hardly any of that horrible gooey white spongy stuff underneath the batter that you get at most chippies. Would I recommend &/or go again? Based on my experience, Absolutely...”

“Went here for a relative’s 40th birthday. Lovely space on the first floor for big parties. The pizzas and pasta are delicious here and very well priced! Authentic Italian food. Service is superb, we had someone who wasn’t happy with their order, didn’t realise it would be so plain and the staff immediately bought out a difference pizza on the house - never seen service like it! Very good restaurant and plenty of tasty sounding dishes on the menu! Highly recommend, nice little Italian in the middle of Shrewsbury! I had the garlic chilli spaghetti which was delicious with a nice strong kick!”
