So much choice, so in the end went for the shallots with ham, the Roast lamb as a main, which just fell off the bone, so tender. And if you fancy a pudding but don't want to be overfaced, go for the small dessert and hot drink. Would definitely go again and recommend.”

“We arrived mid afternoon in our Motorhome with plans to eat in the pub and stay in the car park overnight. The staff were very accommodating and said it was no problem for us to do this. We had a light lunch and drinks in the afternoon then returned in the evening for dinner at a table I had booked a few days prior to our visit. The food was fantastic and the service was first class. Will definitely return if in the area again”

“Well well, this is a textbook definition of a hidden gem! Who'd have thought that a quality Indian restaurant exists in a quaint and nice village as Audley? I went for dinner with very low expectations, but I was in for a surprise. The starters we tried were Prawn Bhuna Puree, Shami Kebab (Lamb) & Chicken Malai Tikka - all 3 were cooked to perfection and the meat was succulent. Highly recommended going for the hot relish, as it's very unique and nice to taste. For main course we had Tandoori Chicken, which was served on a sizzling platter with sliced onions on the sizzling plate as well. The tandoori smell that permeated the restaurant in a lovely way was evident and present in taste in the tandoori chicken pieces; the curry accompaniment was also very good to taste, and very unlike the run off the mill curry sauce usually found at other Indian restaurants. The ambience was very relaxed, with lights just the right brightness, comfortable sitting arrangements, clean toilet. The servers were all warm and welcoming. Overall a very, very good experience and enjoyed a lovely meal at a nice restaurant without any added fuss or loudness after a long time. Totally recommend this to all, and will certainly be visiting more myself. This restaurant certainly seemed to deserve the accolades it shows in Google.”

I often visit with my children and mum who has mobility issues and staff go out of their way to accommodate us on a table that is accessible for her. The food is always delicious, and it is clear that they use the best locally sourced products. I usually go for brunch but recently tried the Shawarma wrap that was amazing. Would definitely recommend.”

The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure the night went smoothly. They took care of every detail with professionalism and a smile, allowing me to relax and really enjoy the celebration. The ambiance was just right – festive yet intimate – and the venue itself was the perfect size and setting for my family and friends to gather, laugh, and make memories. I felt so celebrated and appreciated, and many of my guests commented on how lovely the atmosphere was. The buffet was nothing short of outstanding—beautifully presented and offering an impressive variety of dishes to suit every taste. From fresh, vibrant salads to perfectly seasoned mains and decadent desserts, every bite was delicious. Guests are still telling me how much they enjoyed the food, and many went back for seconds (and thirds!).
