“Really lovely, kind , efficient and caring practice. Sadly there has been a lot of staff changes in the 7 years we have been with the practice and lots of fantastic staff have left. Sometimes difficult to get to see a vet however the veterinary nurses are exceptional and are very reassuring.”

“I had to use Ashbrook for an emergency call out at the weekend to have my young horse sedated while travelling. We were at a service station on the m6. Super quick to organise the vet to get to us, vet arrived within 10 mins and was very personable, efficient and professional! Thank you so much! (We made it home in one piece)”

“Medivet shawbirch are amazing, they saw my dog on short notice, multiple times and were friendly and informative. Eliza and Saski are both wonderful and caring and the people on the front desk are lovely, welcoming and chatty. However if they ever offer you an appointment with medivet oakengates DO NOT GO. Medivet oakengates was horrible service and treatment. I felt very pressured to get my dog neutered or have boas surgery and when said he would not be getting neutered i felt judged and pressured to consider it. When i said i didn't want too i was questioned as to why, its just preference. They made me feel like i was doing something wrong by not getting him done. this was funny as the medivet shawbirch advised against getting him done, and was polite about it. my dog does not need boas. i couldnt afford the tablets but felt forced to buy them as i felt i wouldnt be allowed to leave the practice with my dog if not, considering they said they would come to my house and take my dog if i didnt bring him in. will be moving vets now how dare you threaten to come to peoples houses. disgusting ruined my christmas eve and day. Not only this but now i feel forced to move vets. Thank you Shawbirch for all good you did do for myself and Gatti.”

“We really couldn’t recommend Page & Gunstone vets enough. Nadine has been an incredible support to us at the yard — always so kind, calm, and caring, no matter what’s going on. She takes the time to really know each horse and owner personally, which makes such a difference. No matter the time, day or night, she’s been there when we’ve needed her most, and the whole team have gone above and beyond for us more times than we can count. We have worked with Nadine mostly, and her knowledge, professionalism, and genuine compassion give such peace of mind, especially in the tough moments. We wouldn’t trust anyone else now, and many of our yard have moved to Page & Gunstone too — none of us have ever looked back. “I had worried considerably leaving Katie for her very first time in a cattery, after her initial settling in, she was absolutely fine, the photos every day provided by Auntie Beckie helped me to settle also. On my return to fetch Katie very eager to get her back home, found that she did not want to return, quite happy to continue playing . The cattery is very clean and there every need catered for. “We visited here to meet with the RSPCA rescue centre staff to adopt a cat so can't comment on the cattery or dog boarding but the pens were all very clean and spacious. Plenty of parking on site. Easy to find.”

“Never a easy trip with our German Shepherd Obi, as he is not great with other dogs and he’s very apprehensive of the whole vet visit… However at Hillside they are always very helpful and understanding to our needs when bringing Obi”

“What can I say, I’ve never experienced anything better than what I did today. From reception, the vets, service and price. I couldn’t have dreamed for better if I tried. My youngest cat has CH, previous vets had expressed every single time for him to be put to sleep, I went today looking for a second opinion and wasn’t very hopeful. But I couldn’t have been more wrong, putting Reggie to sleep wasn’t even a mention. The vet took her time, was kind, caring, treated him so wonderfully. I cannot even express how much I’d recommend them, I’ve just moved my other two cats to join. Even if you need to travel, I visited the Stafford branch and I couldn’t sing their praises louder. After 8 months of worry, my feline family of 3 is complete without worry and it’s all thanks to these guys. Thank you so much. Reggie wouldn’t even be alive today if it wasn’t for this wonderful, outstanding vets.”

“I took my cat to Medivet at Oakengates on friday and they where really good the staff are helpful and supportive it is a Friendly place the vet was really good with my cat has the cat can some times be nervous and anxious a round people but he was fine with the vet”

“Im really grateful that I found them. My dog is reactive with attitude and very moody…. She is also rescue so I always was afraid to take her to the vet. Here she is carrying very well, Patrycja (vet) and all the nurses are very understanding and helpful. My dog had a surgery and I was informed all the way how the situation look like and how my dog is. Another time she had breathing problem durning the night so I called them in the morning and my dog was seen one hour later and had another surgery. And again, I had received few phone calls with update. All staff are very helpful when I question them about some concerns or queries. Highly recommended.”
