He didn't want to leave until he had got the situation under control. He took the time to explain everything that he was doing and advised me on when and where to take photos for insurance purposes. He was respectful of my home and cleaned up after. He and a colleague returned first thing the next morning to resolve the situation. For one of the issues the visit had to be rearranged at short notice due to the engineer becoming unavailable. The issue was not urgent though and given the overall experience I feel that 5 stars is deserved. “Cannot fault our heating engineer we had today. Our decades old boiler (circa 1970s) had no signs of life. Inside of an hour he managed to have the whole thing apart, totally cleaned out years of debris (previous owners didn't service probably ever) and managed to identify the issue which he resolved without replacement parts, just a load of clearing out. All the debris that came out was quickly vacuumed up as he worked, one less job for me to do today. Boiler is now ready for winter and we're happy that it doesn't need replacing just yet. Top marks!”
