“Took the plunge and tried the new chippy, absolutely beautiful, the kids had mini fish, chips and curry sauce, the fish wasn't so mini, the wife and I tried the kebab meats absolutely beautiful, large overwhelming portions, well worth the money, had to wait a little bit for food but definitely worth the wait, everything was fresh and hot, nice the see the chippy in full swing and busy again. Well done team keep up the amazing work”

“I bought pie and chips from Skippys today and the chips were amazing! They were so soft and the pie was perfect! Crispy and piping hot in the middle! Can not recommend the food from this place enough! If you haven’t been yet you definitely need to try the food! They don’t disappoint and the staff are so friendly and welcoming! :)”

“Atmosphere is very relaxed and welcoming. To be honest I have eaten in indian restaurants since 1986 and the himalayan curry madras is the best curry I have ever had. Beautiful.”

We were truly impressed by the service throughout our visit - we were welcomed by all staff members, seated within seconds and our order was taken within a few minutes. Service was incredibly quick. The food was faultless - the best mixed grill in the Midlands! The butter chicken was just perfect - will definitely be ordering again. We also had sides - chips, naan and rotis - everything was spot on! If only we had room for more, we would have ordered a sweet treat :) the quality cannot be matched. A lovely family run pub/ restaurant - I’d definitely put it at the top of my list for recommendations. Whether it’s a family meal, quick munch or a date night for two, you’ll not be disappointed! “Love this pub! A proper local, I call it the Winchester to my mates as it's a proper pub. They have a TV for the footy and a bandit, with a decent pool table. The smoking area is the best I've seen in the UK, tiled, covered and every time I've been out there I've had a good natter with the fellow smokers. Good people, good crowd!”
