“What a great find. We tried to walk in on Saturday evening but they were fully booked so we came back today for lunch. What lovely staff; everyone we encountered was smiling. Great menu, food delicious. We especially appreciated our waiter who was attentive, deft, cheerful and who only came over once to check how we were doing. Another recent restaurant visit was slightly marred by the frequency of "Is everything alright" which put our teeth slightly on edge! Today on the other hand, I was sure that we would have been able to catch our waiter's attention had we needed to. We had the hummus and the terrine for starters, the steak and chicken for mains and would recommend them all. Oh and our table upstairs had wonderful river views. All in all, a very enjoyable experience! We shall be back.”

“The "Flagship" is a great and must place to visit for an EFP (Equity French Punk). First step in my quest of stamps to complete my intergalactic passport to the global Brewdog bars. Very comfy sofa. Quiet (not loud, so very enjoyable to me) good rock music. With extra amazing beers of course. Professional and very kind young barmaid. Will definitely come back.”

“I almost did not end up going to this place because of some of the bad reviews, but I'm so glad I ended up going. We had the Space - 6 course tasting menu, and by course 4, I was FULL! The menu was absolutely delicious and interesting to say the least, and I can't believe the price for this experience. All 4 of us enjoyed it and I can't wait to go back to try another menu. It was lovely, and the staff were great too.”

“We recently stayed at the Hilton Teca during a trip to Aberdeen to visit family. A few days prior to arriving, I received an email letting me know that we had received a complimentary room upgrade which was a pleasant unexpected surprise. On arrival, we were given such a warm welcome from the reception team members Victoria and Maria. We were told that our upgrade also included access to the exec lounge, although we were not able to use this during this trip. Our room (416) was large and clean and the giant bed was super comfortable, the view did look out on to a main road, but it was incredibly quiet, so you wouldn't even know. Each night of our stay we'd head to the bar for a night cap, all the restaurant/bar staff we met were super friendly and helpful, particularly Shane and Eilidh who took great care of us over the 3 days we stayed. Breakfast was well stocked and varied, although more vegan options would always be appreciated. The gym and spa were clean and a great space to relax. We will definitely stayed here again.”

“Excellent choice for our Sunday lunch for four. Friendly welcome and well presented, tasty lunches. Especially enjoyed the Skirlie Chicken. Perhaps some training opportunities for one of the waiting staff, who delivered a three quarter filled pint of beer and also could have avoided delivering over other people’s plates. Beer was topped up and good choice of Wainwrights’s and Hobgoblin. Mains were worth the wait but 35 minutes seemed too long. All in all an excellent lunch. And sent off with a piece of Mrs Tilly’s tablet. We’ll be back.”

“First time here last night for a friend's birthday meal. The food was excellent and we had attentive service from our waiter. The food was reasonably priced and our per person cost included lots of drinks & service tip!! Our table was from 4 - 7pm and then we reserved the area in their bar for a few drinks afterwards. Great place and I'll definitely be back.”

“Mike and Kim have been most welcoming whilst being very down to earth, felt more like i was staying with friends or family than at a guesthouse. I have had a lovely 2month stay working away from home here in Aberdeen. The room and facility's are beautifully kept! very clean and maintained daily to a high standard consistently! The decor appears recently upgraded and modernised! Breakfasts alone are second to none and made with pride! Staying here has felt like a home from home in my eyes! Will 100% recommend and will definitely stay here again in the future.”

“This was a really great find, especially if you like well cooked lamb. I ordered the Lamb Shish, which was probably the best lamb I had during our weeks in Scotland and Ireland, or at least tied with a dish I had in Dundee. Really tender and flavorful, really, really good. My wife had the Halloumi Cheese & Vegetable Shish which she really liked as well. Servers were friendly, quick and efficient. McEwans on tap was really good. Lucky to have stumbled upon this place.”
