“Small shop but you will get all Indian groceries. Price is also reasonable.”
“Its a nice little shop where you can find basic romanian, latvian, lithuanian and polish groceries that you can't really find somewhere else. I come here with my friends often to buy food and the staff there are nice. The prices are affordable as well”
“Lovely friendly staff. Would recommend coming here after a romantic walk to grab a coffee and end of date snacks”
“I had an issue regarding baby milk today, phoned the store to explain anticipating it would likely be a return and refund situation. Not only was the lady I spoke to very empathetic and apologetic, but she went above and beyond sending a replacement and goodwill gestures to my house within 2 hours of the initial call. This is what exceptional customer service looks like. Bravo and thank you for resolving so promptly.”
“Good people to talk to help out with lots of stuff good service”
“It's really a shame they are closing - I have been shopping there for the last 20 years. This shop was conveniently located for a lot of people going home to western part of Solihull from work in B'ham. And no, they will not switch to the absurdly localised Waitrose in the Solihull centre. Sainsbury will get them. Or the big Tesco, down the Stratford road. As for the alleged commercial unviability of this very shop, in my humble opinion, they were over-employed. The service at the tills was very good. But I have an impression that the staff stacking the shelves worked at a very relaxed pace, to say this gently. And I am surprised that this not-so-big store employed over 120 people.”
“A great local Iceland, the staff really make the place. Friendly and helpful staff make it a lovely shopping experience, always very kind to my curious young child. A pleasure to shop there. Love the giant steaks and fish range.. Special thanks to Evie and Joshua helping me and my son... Thank you for the continuing great service to the local community.”
“A friendly, reasonably priced shop for your conveniences. It's usually not very busy so the queues are short. Every now then they may be short on ready to eat prawns but don't let that deter you. On the whole very good!”
“Great place to shop nice quiet early Friday morning delivery was at one exellent customer service”
“We love everything: the products and the friendly staff. Thank you!”
“Very pleasant, happy, and helpful young lady on the till this afternoon (Thurs 11th Dec).”
“Very pleased, good choice of products, good quality, kept informed of delivery times, tracking very useful to know how close driver away. Just had a delivery driver called Paul, very polite and courteous and smiles”
“Lovely and clean well stocked store. A pleasure to walk around. The cafe was excellent and the staff pleasant and patient.”
“Frozen food is a bargain here compared to other stores. There's a good variety of chicken and fish products.”
“Great range of food at competitive prices. Big thumbs up to the CEO for the over 60's discount on Tuesday's.”
“Nice Iceland with a good range. It's in the outdoor high Street so it's a bit of a walk back to the car if you parked in the multi story so bear this in mind if you stick up your bags! Store is clean and well supplied. Staff were friendly.”
“Good value buy my meat there plenty of options for the month”
“Really nice store, well stocked. Prices are very good especially in this cost of living crisis. Staff were really friendly and helped me. Forgot we had one nearby. Will go again.”
“A middle eastern market with a experienced staff including a bakery with multiple options like (nan bread, chapati, double nan, more) to be honest it’s your one stop market on top of all the advantages mentioned above there is the best fresh ice cream in town”
“local friendly shop. very helpful owner esp to disabled. good quality reasonably priced products with interesting little gifts and party stuff. parking outside. totally recommend”
“Always friendly staff. They know me by sight and just bring the shopping to me. Even the dogs have got used to them giving them a treat (mine but dogs don't know)”
“My closest branch. Shed was originally a PC World until Aldi took it over. Newer branches have wider aisles, but those have been built from scratch. Staff here are always polite and helpful.”
“Easy to say, one of the best places to try shawarma. The prices have gradually increased over the years, office goers must have at least once in their week. It is quite well marinated and tender meat. The sauces for the shawarma are quite the specialty in this place. It was treat for students when they are tired and unable to cook.”
“Good Value considering all prices have rocketed”
“Superb local Asian mini supermarket that has a great range of fruit and vegetables. Also sells fresh meat produce. Competitive prices with regular bargains being a commonplace feature. Wonderfully helpful and friendly Staff make this a great place to shop.”
“Such a big store located just opposite to Egbaston cricket ground. More products available so no worries. Also, it has more than 8 self check out machines so you can skip the cashier till and checkout quickly.”
“Nice store with quality goods. I love M&S as they are always clean and you can find good quality products. Fruits and veggies, good bread, and tasty ready meals. Variety of beautiful plants and flowers.”
“A lovely place. Very friendly staff. Great food for reasonable price. Definitely will be back.”
“It is one of the most fabulous supermarkets in the world. Cheap CHEAP CHEAP CHEAPPPPP. And very good quality of food”
“The large forecourt accommodates more than 14 cars , seven of which can be fuelling simultaneously. Diesel and petrol is available and the pumps have long reach hoses so it is possible to park on either side of them. Payment at the pump or at the kiosk is offered. In fact the kiosk is a small shop where snacks and drinks can be purchased. I have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful and the service is very efficient. An automatic car wash is located on the site but it is not always operating. The one-way system works well but care should be taken exiting the forecourt as there is a service road adjacent which also joins the main road. As it is a Sainsbury's garage Nectar Points can be collected.”
