“Microbrewary....Just home brewed, quality ales, plus others...Live bands on..( see FB for more info), In house music, via a selection of LPS...with a play list on the wall. Atmosphere very chilled and relaxing, I'd recommend trying the wild mushroom, and garlic chips, !”

“I thought I visit this lounge as i heard good stuff and it did not disappoint, the shisha was reasonably price and i believe its one of the cheapest in Birmingham. The lounge is well decorated and alot of good flavours on the menu along with drinks and mocktails. The service is friendly and the guy at the counter is knowledgeable on the flavours.”

“Can’t recommend Phil and the team at Bennett’s highly enough! Recently on the way back from visiting friends near to lichfield my car suffered a major breakdown. I ended up crawling into Lichfield and into Bennett’s Autocare which was the nearest garage to where my breakdown occurred. The team accommodated me even though I randomly turned up at his garage and by the next morning they were working on my car to try and resolve the issue. Unfortunately what was initially thought to be the issue and straight forward job, was not the case. Phil was straight forward and honest and explained the potential fault and solutions where not in his expertise and helped me work through solutions to get the car recovered and back to the garage It came from. He undid all of his work and only charged a small amount for diagnostics and the fault finding they did do (only charged one hour labour instead of the 3/4 hours they did take). they also let me wait around in the garage whilst recovery came and my hire car came so I can get on home. After a disastrous couple of days with my car I was genuinely so glad that I found Bennett’s Autocare to help and it’s really great to see there is some kind hearted and good people in this world who put helping others first before everything else! Keep up the good work team!”

“Stumbled on this place whilst looking for somewhere for a pre dinner drink. Good selection of Ales and Lagers as well as lots of Gins! We went for Kelham Islander and Beavertown Bones Lager. We'll definitely be back for more. A lovely addition to Mere Green.”

“Great pub. Fantastic home cooked food, simply done at a reasonable price. No gastro gimmicks here but serving traditional foods such as steaming hot Irish stew or traditional dinners are highly recommended. Food is mostly served to diners in the quiet lounge area to the rear but you can also eat in the bar if you wish. Five stars, order with confidence!”

“Always a good laugh here - the performances are sketchy but hilarious and great entertainment as part of a night out passing through this part of town. Very tasty and authentic bbq and drinks although the tsingtao beer was warm we made use of the cups and ice with our Soju chaser. They don't always have all the soju on the menu but they're all fine.”

“Ordered from Uber eats as didn't recognize the place, having tried a lot of the cities other Japanese food restaurants I immediately ordered! And I have to say I'm real impressed, initial thoughts are the portion sizes - spectacularly large! I love the big bowls. Everything came well packed. Food was delicious, we ordered 2 chicken katsu & 2 thighs & fries (Tokyo & Thaiger) both were delicious and incredibly unique. I would highly recommend the Thaiger personally. The katsu curry was divine also. I'm surprised it's all so good considering the fair pricing. Please keep this service up and we will return every week! Aha thank you very much”

Whilst initially disappointed to discover the pub did not have Sky Sports to watch our team Birmingham City play Wrexham, we had a most amazing evening. Dave and Kate were excellent hosts and made my birthday one to remember. Would definitely recommend to others and will definitely be visiting again soon.”
