Meeting friends café in Birmingham

“Been meaning to come here for a while, heard good things and I wasnt disappointed. Firstly thr location is pretty good, close to town but far enough so you can get easily parked. There is free parking just outside for at least 2 hours, plenty of time. Upon entering,there's a cool water feature with the cafe logo. Thr ambience is nice and it's decorated very nicely. The staff are really nice too very friendly and the food and drinks is served very quick. We went at a busy time and still got our drinks n food pretty quickly. Thr food itself is great very tasty nice range and perfect for breakfast or lunch. I had a persian breakfast and the flavours were great. The drinks were really nice too and made fresh and nicely presented. Overall it was a great experience and will definitely be back!!”

“Really lovely vintage café in the heart of Solihull. We were given a very warm welcome and a great afternoon tea (and had so much that we had to take some home with us at the end!). Plenty of tasty sandwiches, scones and cakes, lashings of tea and really friendly service - highly recommended.”

“Had a lovely bacon and egg sandwich cooked and prepared just how I liked it, could not have wished for a better place to eat it in either, it was clean and tidy, the staff were friendly and welcoming, I even went back later for a slice of home made lemon drizzle cake which was well worth the money I paid, will definitely be seeing me again in the near future”

“My wife and myself have been visiting here for a number of years and have all ways been impressed with both the quality and the quantity of the food. A warm welcome by Lilly and her staff is the order of the day. So satisfied with The Oriental Jade that we have introduced a number of friends and family here. We have found that when we have ordered meals for delivery they were piping hot and just as delicious as when eating in there. Not one single complaint in over 5 years.”

“Visited here with some colleagues whilst dropping a few things off at Minworth for the day. Had a brilliant English Breakfast, so we returned again for a takeaway and took some delicious Fish & Chips with Mushy Peas on the way back. Service was great and we were very well looked after.”

“I had a medium size breakfast but couldnt eat it all. It was beautiful. Large rashers of short back bacon 2 large sausages beans toms egg and fried bread. The staff were so pleasant. I only went there after good reviews from people I know. Oh large mug of tea!!”

“This store has changed hands 3 months ago after several years of same ownership. The new team remain pleasant and interact well particularly Mo the manager and a very pleasant assistant named Mansi. She is charming and hard working. The decor remains ok as does the Coffee and food. Still continue to visit.”

We sat upstairs and there was free water available to help clear your palette and be ready for the awesome treats we ordered. We were a party of 7 and everyone enjoyed the deserts and shakes.”
