“I’ve been buying raw dog food from Blu’s for around 5 years. They are competitively priced and offer an extensive range of meats. The staff are super helpful and friendly and will go out of their way to help if I’ve forgotten to order on time! “Despite my parent’s dog being registered locally with another veterinary practice and me ringing during their opening hours expressing concern that the dog needed to be seen urgently, I was declined an appointment. I was left ringing round and Shepherd’s Vets came to the rescue with an Out of Hours appointment at home to sadly put to sleep their dog. The visiting vet and nurse were compassionate and caring and I can’t thank them enough for their support during what was a difficult and heartbreaking position. The only vets locally to do home visits and I will transferring my cats to their care to ensure I don’t have a repeat experience of being declined an appointment in a pets hour of need!”

“My poor little rat, Rue, went to sleep yesterday at companion care. The experience from start to finish was so kind and compassionate. On the phone they were gentle explaining our options, and when we entered the receptionists were so lovely. When we were called in the vet did a check over to make sure it was the right decision which made me feel at ease knowing it was 100% the best choice. The vet explained everything start to finish and was so incredibly patient. She got Rue a blanket and let us spend as much time as we needed with her. Afterwards she was still lovely and reminisced about Rue with us. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience within such a sad situation. Everyone working there is understanding and caring. I couldn’t recommend anywhere better.”
