“Great service from start to finish from R B Porter. We have used them for a number of jobs and they always get back to you promptly with appointment times and quotes (unlike many other businesses). Very professional when they visit to complete the job. We recently had a Worcester Bosch boiler fitted. Everything was completed quickly and left spotless at the end by Darren and the other gentleman (sorry tgat o can't remember his name). We would definitely recommend.”

“A typical old fashioned hardware store, of the kind that do still exist in a few places. It's a real Alladin's cave of bits & pieces. The owner knows exactly where everything is located, and is highly knowledgeable about the products. So much better than the impersonal DiY stores where staff seem to know so little and care less. There is a small amount of parking outside, although this could easily fill up on busy days. Locals should definitely support this shop; you'll miss it if it goes.”
