“BBQ Express was absolutely amazing! Everything was 10/10 — the food was delicious, full of flavour, and cooked perfectly. The customer service was excellent; the staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. It’s a great family-friendly place with a warm and comfortable atmosphere. Definitely one of the best BBQ spots I’ve been to highly recommend!”

“A dual purpose coffee bar (one of those you lean against, no seats) and alcoholic drinks station/bar. I passed whilst exiting Sunbridgewells and was drawn in by the selection of spirits on offer. Good chat with the owner. Great little place.”

“Has had a lovely refresh since new ownership. A place with actual decent coffee and a children's play space is the ultimate dream for parents. Lots of space for pram parking . There is a step to enter but staff are helpful with getting you in. There is a changing table in the toilet (which is very clean) complete with emergency supplies! The children's lunchbox is also a great deal. Edit 15/8/25 I continually come back to Golden Linings due to the warm welcome from the staff, nothing is too much trouble whether you're there for 10 minutes or 2 hours. I will be sad to be not be here so often once I'm off Maternity Leave!”

“We had a great regular breakfast there today. The quality was on point and it was I great size for the price. I also tried an old classic, Steak Canadian with fried onions and I'd totally forgotten how good that sandwich was. Staff were lovely,pleasant and chatty. Thank you very much ladies.”

“It was my first time trying it and I was blown away by the flavours. I opted for the regular falafel wrap and it was stunning, not too spicy and not too bland. The vast medley of vegetables they use are packed full of flavour, not to mention the sauces and the hummus. The falafels themselves are made right in front of you and you can really taste that freshness. I also got a pineapple and strawberry juice and it was just as delicious, the juices are also made to order with the fresh ingredients and you could really taste how organic it was.”

“Visited today for the first time with my boyfriend. We booked online as we had heard from friends it was a popular spot (and I can definitely understand why!). I included in the notes of the booking, that we were visiting for my boyfriend's birthday meal. When we got there, the table was ready and had a birthday card on from the Rumpus team which was a lovely surprise. The service was great, staff are attentive and welcoming. The food is delicious! Cooked fresh with local ingredients. We will definitely be visiting again!”

“We decided to try Greenwood Cafe Bistro after finding excellent reviews online from previous customers with ceoliac disease (strictly gluten free). We were not disappointed! We had the best homemade gluten free scones we've ever had & they came served with incredible homemade jam full of fruit. It can be difficult to find good gluten free food when out & about but to find excellent food is a rarity. Thank you!”

“Great food at a reasonable price. The location is convenient as it's on the main road. Busy street but you can usually find a spot to slot into without too much trouble. Always nice and clean with a few tables and chairs inside. Friendly staff and a very good variety of food. The egg mayo with crispy bacon and salad sandwich is particularly good. Highly recommend this excellent little sandwich shop.”

“The new owner Pakeezah, has introduced a fantastic menu that, in my opinion, suits everyone. I had the best Turkish Eggs that I have tasted. Perfectly cooked poached eggs with just the right amount of spice. The coffee is great, and I can't wait to try the rest of the menu. The cafe has had a freshen up, with new seating and tables inside and plenty of seating outside for the finer weather. Dog friendly, at the Bowling Hall Road entrance to Bowling Park, with plenty of free parking nearby.”

Yara, Khoder and Bella were our servers. They were all attentive and welcoming. If you’re looking for a place to celebrate or just a delicious meal, you should try Kunafa Tea.”

“Outstanding food! I only discovered this place a few months ago but I've been here twice now and both times the food was incredible. The selection is great, it's well priced and the service is excellent too. Highly recommend the bagels, the Texan one with brisket in particular, but the roast beef one is also delicious and so it's the gochujang pork belly. The cakes are also very good.”

“Great spot for a spot of dinner. I had homemade cottage pie with onion and cheese mash topping, lashings of gravy, chips and peas! Absolutely massive portions. The cafe had a lively atmosphere with plenty of locals and tradesmen coming in for coffee and butties. The staff were brilliant; polite, courteous and very accommodating. If you're looking for great quality food at a reasonable price you can't go far wrong with Care @ 19!”
