“For a coffee place it should go without saying that the coffee here is excellent (and it is!), but the brunch/breakfast options here are what make this the kind of place I wish we had round the corner - had probably the nicest almond croissant I've ever had here, and that was essentially a starter for this banging brisket eggs benedict. Sometimes an eggs benedict can be disappointingly dull, but they nailed the hollandaise and every element was spot on. Looking for an excuse to find myself in Halifax again!”

“At last! A burger restaurant in Halifax that prides itself on the quality of ingredients instead of its size of burger. No ridiculous towering burgers full of rubbish here, instead perfectly cooked smashed burgers with toppings that compliment the meat so the beef takes centre stage. Accompanied by great skin on fries I also opted to have a salted caramel shake, wonderful. There is no doubt their concept is very similar to Five Guys, albeit five guys would never open in a small town like Halifax. Can’t wait to go back!!! Love it!”

“My first visit to this place has I have heard so much about it so on first impressions easy to travel to also plenty of parking then nice welcome large shop area or waiting area the staff were super smart also very friendly I can see my two young niece n nephew loving this place has it was very spacious with a great view also where we sat you could see the animals outside so it was a nice distraction but the food the full breakfast was spot on the service spot on the price you can’t complain to sit in a nice warm relaxing atmosphere really impressed .The farm animals were an added bonus”

“We decided to try Greenwood Cafe Bistro after finding excellent reviews online from previous customers with ceoliac disease (strictly gluten free). We were not disappointed! We had the best homemade gluten free scones we've ever had & they came served with incredible homemade jam full of fruit. It can be difficult to find good gluten free food when out & about but to find excellent food is a rarity. Thank you!”

“Great little place, we aren't vegan, but did have a veggie with us. All the food was amazing. the best burger ever was the comment from our Veggie. The staff and service were great. They are extremely dog friendly and brought our tired 4 month old springer, water, treats, and even a dog mat for her to lay on to keep her off the floor. Absolutely fantastic.”

“Always welcoming when I collect as I live so near the chefs have got used to my recommendations and always deliver what I like as I'm a bit picky ...last order lamb balti very very dry absolutely beautiful couldn't ask for more to be fair ...in fact just gonna order again! Also I have tolerance issues for all you out there that can't eat wheat try the chapatti first thing I've found from a food establishment in years that doesn't make me ill.. well done to my favourite take away no other will do ! “A fantastic restaurant which I visited with three of my friends. The food and service were fantastic and the restaurant itself was clean, well lit and nicely decorated. We had Chris as our waiter who did a great job of taking care of us, he even had us laughing which just added to the great experience. We were all very happy with the food, wine and all the options. A member of our group is a vegetarian and she too was very happy with the options available. Chris recommended the limoncello cheesecake to me and that was so so good! We were happy with the quick turnaround between ordering and receiving our food and had an amazing experience here.”

“Been frequenting here for over 20 years, and not once have I had a bad experience. The service is always brilliant, the atmosphere always great and the food? Oh, the food is THE BEST in town! Always fresh, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. We even order delivery sometimes and the food is just as delicious. Not just great food, but the owners and staff are bloody brilliant!
