“I moved to Pudsey about a year ago, and this was my first time trying The Bearded Sailor. I have to say, everything was top-tier quality , from the lightning-fast and friendly service (even when busy) to the lovely, tender, perfectly battered fish and the flavoursome homemade tartar and curry sauces. Everything about this chippy oozes quality. Easily the best in the surrounding area, if not all of Leeds.”

“I went for a hearty, wholesome full English (vegetarian) breakfast. My Uncle had the non-vegetarian, and my cousin had the Eggs Royale. For me, everything tasted precisely as expected (and hoped for) - particularly the poached eggs, which were made perfectly (runny golden yoke in the middle when cut into). Overall, the atmosphere was busy, but cosy- an ideal place to enjoy breakfast on a Saturday morning. Plus, I appreciated the open kitchen plan - you could see how everything was being cooked. Would definitely come back here again - and I recommend it for those looking for a cooked breakfast that doesn’t disappoint.”

“I found this place tonight my girlfriend has only just recently moved in the area so we thought we would give this place a try. We ordered spare ribs in ok sauce, salt and pepper chicken, egg fried rice, noodles and beansprouts, and prawn crackers with some curry sauce all was excellent it's hard to find a Chinese place that does all the food so well, it's one of the best, if not the best Chinese iv ever had I highly recommend this place and the guy serving was nice and friendly too”

“Great indoor play area, with activities to suit all. Lovely staff, welcoming, helpful and accommodating. The facilities for changing, etc are good, clean and accessible. There are drinks and snacks to suit all. A great experience and one to be noted for future, but beware it does get busy so ring before you attend.”

“Popped in for lunch. Service was excellent as was the food. I had deep fried goats cheese with beetroot to start, this was delicious, the cheese was in a really crispy coating. For the main I had a calzone pizza which was lovely and came with a slightly spicy tomato sauce in a separate pot. Prices seemed very reasonable. Will definitely return as there were a large number of dishes on the menu that sounded appetising.”

“Smoky Bros never misses. Smash burgers are unreal, chips are always crispy, onion rings hit the sweet spot, and the cheesy garlic bread? Dangerous in the best way. Easily my go-to when I need proper comfort food done right.”

“My first visit to Kyber. Very tastefully decorated,very friendly staff a good warm atmosphere. Starter i had masala fish,nice size portion,very tasty. Then i had chicken rogan josh,this also was a nice size portion,good temperature and full of chunks of chicken and nicely spiced. Reasonably priced but everything seperate on menu,i.e rice,chapattis,naan bread,pickle tray and poppadoms. Vegetarian options. You can also take your own alcohol to drink or they provide water.”
