Pools for swimming in Bradford

“We had a long weekend in the Skipton area, so phoned in to the Swimming Pool to check availability and best options. We received excellent advice from Reception and duly had a good hour in the pool that afternoon.So much so we went back just before leaving for home a few days later for a second session. The whole experience was exceptional, from checking in at the front desk to leaving the cafe a couple of hours later. The Leisure centre has a varied programme with an activity to suit all. It is well supported which says it all. Well recommended!”

“Great gym. Really supportive and not judgemental. Abs/core class on Monday's are for everyone of any level. So positive. Without the friendly people I would not have kept going.”

“My daughter is having lessons here and the swimming teachers are absolutely fantastic with the children. My daughter was really nervous when she started but they've been brilliant at helping her to build her confidence. The changing rooms are great with individual cubicles with lockers nearby. It always feels clean and welcoming.”

“Me and my kids visited splash park from Manchester. Honestly it was an amazing experience. My kids enjoyed a lot. Staff was really polite and helpful and the place itself was super clean. Paid parking is available just next to the centre. I definitely recommend this place.”

“Nuffield gym is my go to when I visit family in Baildon. Great gym and facilities. The best thing about the place however, is the team. I have met Charlotte & Louise. They do an amazing job of running a busy front of house whilst always being friendly, polite and professional. I look forward to visiting again soon.”

“Played badminton here with friends once. Booking in advance. The court was not bad. Staff was kind. Plenty of parking and it seems to be free (I didn't drive so unsure). Haven't used other facilities.”

“I had to write this review as soon as we left. We only live over the road and I have to say the owner, the staff, the food and drink were beyond all expectations. We enjoyed every mouthful of our Christmas dinner and the service, the people and the atmosphere. In all the years of eating out I have never felt so welcome and had a service which surpasses theirs. I would like to thank everyone for such a pleasant and unforgettable meal. I will certainly recommend this hotel to anyone and we will be having our wedding reception there. The beer conaseaurs will be glad to know they keep a good pint. Merry Christmas to you all and keep up the good work!”

“Exerlent staff at centre. They are brilliant 10 out of 10 for customers service skills. They go above and beyond for customers. Lots of classes. I love Aqua.fit and aqua med . All of the instructors are brilliant one instructors is fantastic, Her music is great charmine who does 3 classes a week. Is out of this world . Her energy is so uplifting. I wish she could do ,more classes. She is like a breath, of fresh Air ..”

“Today i over came my anxieties, due to my poor mobility,and plucked up the courage to go swimming.Am activity i once loved when i was fully mobile. The reception lady was fantastic and she asked other staff to let me look round and talked me through the whole process. They were all great and made me feel at ease.I also met some other lovely people in the pool.Cant wait to go again.Thankyou to Ibrahim for the BEEP referral. X”

“This hotel is amazing, An amazing fancy type of hotel with low prices nice facilities that are clean and relaxing. I had no problem whatsoever checking in but I some how got into a room that wasn’t mine, once I left the room I wasn’t able to get back into the room and I talked to reception about it and after some explaining I was able to get back into my room. I can not thank the staff enough they were so nice and accommodating. I definitely will com back again and will recommend this to other people.”

“Good place for sports events 2 big courts”

“Staff are helpful, the buildings interior had undergone rebuild of reception and new paint / styling. Reception is now a desk, which works OK, but surely the height should match the standing customers? PS, why include squash in Membership, but charge £13 an hour for badminton - seems badmintonist. Otherwise pleasant and accessible services. Update autumn 2022: no change, all good. The prices just rose for all services, but all below inflation. Update summer 2024, all good, staff seem more motivated and happy. Update summer 2025, the staff make the center.”

“Helen has been instrumental in the development of my dog Murphy as he found his paws in my home. This first began with puppy visits and there were several times where Helen sent me messages of some of the misdemeanors my pup had been getting up to. Nothing fazed her though and on several occasions she went the extra mile and cleared up items such as the destroyed bin (yes I forgot to take it out one day) without hesitation. Murphy has also had the fortune of stopping at Helen's where I was sent regular updates, it was clear to see he very much felt at home whilst he was with her. Murphy is always pleased to see Helen, if our paths cross out on a walk she makes the time to stop and say hello and Murphy gets so excited seeing her which as an owner is completely reassuring to watch. I found the terms in the contract to be very fair and communication is great, she'll happily discuss all things dog with you and has been really helpful in giving suggestions as Murphy has grown. I know Murphy has thrown out a few challenges along the way but Helen has adapted with some of the medical changes that have been needed and she is really patient and supportive. I'm really pleased that Murphy is now old enough to go out for longer adventures with Bella's Buddies as I'm happy in the knowledge that he is safe, in a caring environment and is totally enjoying himself.”
