The quality and service have been faultless and I cannot recommend either Mark or his bookcases highly enough. To find someone who truly understands what books really require is precious. The zigzag design makes all the difference and I no longer have shelves sagging under the weight. These are real heirlooms in the making. They are well worth every penny and if any reassurance is required with regards to upfront payment, then please rest easy. Mark is generous with his time and I even had my cases delivered to Exeter, exactly when promised. At last I have my own small slice of the Bodleian and it gives me enormous joy. There are never too many books, just not enough shelving and I have finally found the solution to that!”

Not only did Sarah organise a bouquet to the budget given, but was also educated whilst waiting. But I was fortunate enough to witness a comedy duo whilst the flowers expertly got assorted. Flowers usually for me are a mother's day / valentines day deal, but already looking forward to my next visit to these lovely ladies. Shop smelled great too, and the flowers speak for themselves. “What a lovely friendly gem this is. We booked this as a one night B&B during our South Downs walking holiday. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was lovely ( I judge by the quality of the sausages, they were great). I would certainly highly recommend staying here, we were sadly unable to experience their cream teas mainly due to our own timing of arrival and departure. It's a lovely friendly village and we'll be coming back at some point.”

Gary (clearly an ex professional) gave me the best advice on paint choice mindful of the environment it’s going into (steamy bathroom with condensation issues and history of mold). Mixed up an exact replica of a Farrow and Ball in a trade paint mix which hands down provided a far better application than the typical diy stores. “A really lovely restaurant that a friend and I visited Saturday lunchtime. We went for the set lunch menu. My friend is Slovak and really enjoyed the chicken schnitzel. I am vegetarian so went for halloumi burger. We also had a large salad bowl (50% discount with a main meal). . I do think they need to increase the vegetarian choices in the set menu because that was a bit restricted. However, I wouldn’t hesitate to come back here.”
