βSuch a lovely surprise! We were visiting Lewes and just wanting a nice cup of tea, and stumbled upon this lovely gem. The back room had a lovely tea service, including a small escape room game that can be played, great service, tasty scones. It did fill up quickly as only 4-5 tables in the back, so there could be a wait (but it is worth it!)β
βThis is a great place to bring the kids for lunch. They have delicious ice creams. Also the portions are good sized. Itβs not expensive at all and itβs quite tasty. The people are quite nice, accommodating and really friendly. Itβs right in the park and next to the paddling pool so the kids can have loads of fun here, you can really spend the day, and have loads of fun recommended.β
βGreat little store. Very helpful staff and they usually have stock of the items that you want. Staff also very good and help with a "have you got a thing that does this?" type queries.β
βWhat an excellent pub! I only stumbled upon it after a hike. Brilliant selection of craft beers on draft and a couple of cask ales. Very nice beer garden below the chalk cliff. Very enjoyable chat with the friendly owner Dominic. Iβll be back!β
βMassive thank you to the staff at the Lewes branch. Today they went above and beyond for me today in my hour of need. Exceptionally great team. Thanks all.β
βEasy to find. Lots of free parking right outside. Friendly staff on the counter serving. I used click and collect and everything worked very well. Staff member happy to check that the part I ordered would actually fit my car! Highly recommendedβ
βLovely staff and great offers with local deliveryβ
βThe information centre is good at giving information and keeping me updated. My main reason for visiting was to purchase South Street Bonfire Site tickets and I was able to do so easily. Conveniently locatedβ

βAfter having issues with a few local garages, a friend recommended Ashley and Lucy. MOT and service done on my car this morning and all done without any problems. Great service. We will be using Lewes Garage Services for both of our cars in future.β
βModern building in very good condition. Clean and warm. Well stocked kitchen and clean toilets. Car park, which is also used by the public as the building is on the edge of a park.β
βMe and my disabled son loved visiting this place the staff were so understanding, we enjoyed seeing the pigs, alpacas, baby goats and horses there outside play area was amazing there was so much for my little boy to do and he was so happy .. they also have a soft play but we were unable to visit it as my son got really tired and overwhelmed due to his mobility condition xβ
βThank you so much to the lovely staff who helped me with my Joie stroller today! I had my baby in my arms, and they were so kind and supportive β even helped set it up. Brilliant service, really appreciated! Hereβs a photo of my happy little one in the new pushchairβ
βOnly Β£7.95 for 24 hours if you use the NCP app, which also lets you extend your stay remotely but only once the time runs out (the app shows you a count down). App not necessary but better with.β
βReally friendly staff, very trustworthy and happy to explain everything going on with your car in great detail. Can't recommend highly enough! Also, totally saved my partners day one time for free with a tiny job. Extra points for that!β
βI have used this service centre since moving to the area a few years ago. They are always helpful and provide an excellent service for a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommendβ
βStayed in the Willow pod, really clean, well designed. Suprising a good amount of a space for a pod. Toilets and shower was extremely clean! Tim the owner was really lovely also and stopped to talk to us before we left which was very nice. The location is beautiful, so peaceful. The perfect get away space for relaxing I will deffo come back in the future I would highly visit staying here either in the pods or if you camp, staying here. Lots to do in the nearby time and it was a great touch having leaflets inside. Thank you for a great stay! Joe and Melissaβ
βThe most peaceful park where one can enjoy a coffee and a pastry in a lovely green space. The flowers and the birds are gorgeous in this public garden.β
βWe have returned recently from 'one week' stay at 'The Old Flower Field Lodges', where we had the MOST AMAZING time. Our stay was made so much more enjoyable b/c of our hosts 'Shaun' and 'Sue' who run the business. The lodges were extremely comfortable, all the home comforts you need to make your stay more enjoyable / relaxing. Additionally, laundry and 'disabled / wheelchair' friendly (seated) shower facility is available for guests. Regretfully, we returned home on Saturday. Anyone looking for great location to stay, near to south-coast, home comforts and excellent hosts, we recommend you look at booking time at The Old Flower Field Lodges'.β
βI have stayed here once a year for the last 3 years. Itβs so peaceful and lodges are excellent quality and have everything you need inside them. Modern, comfortable, dog friendly, hot tub cleaned daily. Reception is extremely helpful. The owners are really accommodating and canβt do enough for you and your stay! Lovely walks and pubs to visit in walking distance. We always look forward to coming back year after year!β
βGreat campsite, perfect location if wanting to explore the South Downs but also great for getting into Brighton. Plus lovely little shop selling coffee, fire wood and even morning pastries. Not forgetting the bonus of warm showers, clean toilets, fridge, washing up facilities.β
βWell worth the short walk up from Lewes centre (about 30 mins) for the golden hour sunset views of the North and South Downs. Easy for kids too if they're moaners like mine.β
βGreat place for a walk at lunch time. It is a haven of wildlife if your into macro photography or wildlife photography it is a great place to go and shoot all year round it has quite varied habitats. It is well looked after and it is an oasis at lunchtime during the week. You can go on a lovely walk or find a bench in the shade or sit by the pond and watch dragonflies and frogs.β
βCanβt speak for the rooms as didnβt see them but based on all else am giving a 5 as not sure what happens if skip stars for the rooms .. but the service is phenomenal. Fascinated to watch the efficiency and attention the staff give to their jobs. They dont skip a beat! As for the ambience and just total loveliness of the building and its setting. Gorgeous. Iβm trying to think of reasons to come back to this area. Loved it. My veggie tagine was pretty good too. Chips - French fries - as good as they get. No stragglers at the bottom you canβt eat. Yummy til the last bite.β
βStud farm campsite is one of the most beautiful campsites I have stayed on. The views of the south downs and the sea are second to none. The campsite is quiet and had respectful people when we camped. They have a toilet block and showers although as we up on top of the downs the water pressure was very low so not sure how good the showers were, toilets were clean and tidy... Camp fires were allowed but only off the ground which is understandable. The have on-site staff to help and bring firewood if you need. It's only a short drive to birling gap or the start of the seven sisters. The top of the hill can get a bit windy but if you prepare for it it's not a problem. Keep an eye of for spitfire flybysβ
βWonderful B&B in a quiet location offering great value for money. Really enjoyed our stay here, a warm welcome from the owners upon our arrival, the room had a beautiful view over the garden and field behind - We were given a map to keep of the local area and an ice cold bottle of water for the room. Tea & coffee was also available in the room. Bramble barn was a medium walk to town, maybe 15-20 minutes. Breakfast was excellent and very generous - freshly cooked to order, with vegetarian options that could easily be tweaked to a vegan cooked breakfast if required. I would 100% stay again!β
βMike and Susie are super guests. It is a beautiful setting in Sussex close to Brighton and Burgess Hill. Hurstpierpoint is a lovely little village close to the farmhouse with restaurants and bars. Lovely breakfast was served. Thank you for your hospitality.β
βGreat place for Pumpkin picking! A big field, food and rides for children during this season! They accept cash and card, itβs brilliant! Iβm so happy I got to go there :)β
