βWe recently purchased a weekend spa hot tub from Giles. We were looked after by Josh who was a pleasure to deal with, he was very helpful and honest when it came to arranging delivery as we had to have it craned over the house, he did all the liasing with companies involved. Would highly recommend then. Thank you for all your help. Mark & Nicky Curtisβ
βReally enjoyed the food absolutely incredible. Lovely service amazing stuff, super friendly and welcoming especially Sophie. Highly recommended place to go for nice needed meal!β
βLove this place, has been an anchor for me, friendly staff, small place but enough of everything you need and plenty to make it relaxing and enjoyable. Would reccomend.β
βWe took our 3 & 5 year old to swimming lessons for the first time and they were both in separate classes and both very nervous. The lifeguard Poppy was incredibly kind & so patient with them both, making them both feel more at ease and comfortable. She is an absolute asset to the dolphin & is an incredible woman. If you have nervous children when it comes to swimming lessons, I highly recommend the dolphin. Thank you to Poppy for your kindness and patience!β
βTop notch sports park. Plenty of parking. Great facilities - pool, track, fun pool, squash courts, tennis, gymnastics, martial arts, and much more. Cafe is decent and well stocked. Enough seating. Easy to get to as well.β
βAbsolutely brilliant place to visit has a lovely swimming pool great environment and friendly staffβ
βIβm writing to share my appreciation for two incredible staff members, Alana and Abi, at Livingwell. As a member, Iβve had the pleasure of interacting with them on several occasions, and I canβt express enough how outstanding their customer service has been. Both Alana and Abi have consistently gone above and beyond to ensure I have an exceptional experience at Livingwell. Their warmth, professionalism, and genuine willingness to assist have truly made a positive impact on my visits. Itβs rare to encounter such dedicated and helpful staff, and I wanted to make sure their efforts didnβt go unnoticed. Words can't fully describe how happy I am with the service theyβve provided, and I just wanted to take a moment to commend them. Livingwell is lucky to have such amazing team members. Thank you for fostering such a wonderful environment, and I look forward to many more visits.β
βMonday Night Football on the 3G pitch Is great but would be better if the council would strim the shrubbery so we can find our footballsβ
βI really love Bannatynes. It is warm and welcoming. The swimming pool is clean and spacious. There is a hot tub, steam room and sauna which I enjoy using after a workout. The gym is also spacious and welcoming. The changing room facilities are good (hot showers, costume drier, hairdriers, lockers, large mirrors, plug sockets etc). It also has a cafe with comfy seats and friendly staff. My only complaint is that it sometimes takes a while for things to get repaired.β
βWhen my non verbal autistic child s local swimming lesson was cancelled while we were on our way at 6pm on a weekday evening, King Alfred was the only place that offered drop in fun sessions that time of evening within reasonable travel distance from us. Even though the centre is an old building, I didn't see any hygiene issues with the pool area. We will be back.β
βGreat gym with pleasant staff. The gym is located opposite the fun pool as separate. The classes are great for motivation. It has a good range of equipment and space. I go pay as you go.β
βWhen we got there they insisted that we give them money before we could go in an start swimming. It was Β£8.50 per adult (this is in 2023) which is dearer than you might pay at some places, but the beauty of it was that there were no chavs. I'll happily pay a bit extra to avoid them. It's a very nice pool, with a lovely wooden ceiling, and the temperature of the water was ideal in my opinion, at least judging by today's experience.β
