“My van was recently in for its service and I was informed it needed new brake discs and pads on the front. I had already authorised these to be done as the van has covered over 140000 miles and always being in the motor trade myself am aware of wear times on components, but I was informed that only the fronts needed doing and rears would last until next service...( I had budgeted for all four to be replaced.) I consider this great honest customer service. Dinnages Portslade ,Brighton have always given me excellent service from start to finish since owning the van from 2021 and I would not trust my van to anyone else.”

“Close by Berwick Railway Station there is a gem called Berwick Service Station. Despite living close by for many years I've used garages close to . my workplace. However, earlier this year I had serious engine failure nearby to Berwick Service Station. I was greeted in reception with a smile and immediately felt comfortable leaving my vehicle. They completed a major job to my entire satisfaction. Recently, an unfortunate shunt demanded another visit to this gem in Berwick and a lovely smile by Mary-Ann at reception. I had noticed some very posh expensive cars on their premises and was aware of their body workshop. George, their bodywork specialist viewed the damage to my vehicle and cheerfully conveyed 'no problem'. In record time my car was ready for collection and I was truly gobsmacked on seeing the superb workmanship both on bodywork and final paint finish. A truly professional piece of work by a craftsman. Look, I've told you about this gem, but don't go waffling to your mates in the pub about it.”

““Goes above and beyond” I’ve been going to Steve’s Autos for years and can’t count the amount of times they have come to my rescue.From a flat battery at home to breaking down on a dual carriage way,they are always there to reassure me and to fix my car. Only recently my clutch went on a dual carriageway and I was panicking as had my toddler with me and had to work the same afternoon.I was very quickly recovered within 15 mins and given a car to use in the meantime whilst my car was being fixed. The garage had fixed my car with a new clutch within 24 hours despite it being a busy bank holiday weekend. I was so grateful and glad to be back on the road safely thanks to them. Steve always goes above and beyond and I know I can always rely on him in my hours of need.”

They fitted my car in quickly, were very good value for money with the parts and labour costs clearly broken down (much cheaper than I’d been quoted elsewhere for the same parts). They also investigated other issues I mentioned upon arrival and were able to fix them quickly and cost effectively. It looks small from the outside but the quality of service was great.”

“Came in 04/11/2025 for two front tyres. All staff very professional while changing the tyre I was made aware and shown that one of my front wheels were buckled. I was advised if I was to get another alloy they would happily change the the tyre over for a small and reasonable amount. Staff were all really friendly and approachable and was even made a cup of coffee while I waited. I would definitely recommend and use this garage again.”
