“First time visiting today for lunch! Food was sensational, as was the service and decor. £5.70 for two bottles of Schweppes soda water for our wine was a little shock on the bill, I feel you could purchase soda siphons or a soda stream to offer this to guests at a lower price…baring in mind it is free in most establishments. Constructive, as we had a lush lunch with you regardless.”

Billy and his staff are very warm kind hearted folk as always they come out and say helllo the reception on arrival never disappoints the food is brilliant good sized portions that will full up the greediest of whats inside us all. Lovely melted cheesey garlic bread to start so Yummy 2 portions and a Lovely choice of food and deserts just add to its flavour and balance and cooked fresh what more could you ask for. “What else is there to say , but wow wow wow, every single time we visit this restaurant we are always greeted by the stunning staff ,always smiling and always feels like family, nothing is ever to much for these ladies, very professional and always dedicated. “I met up with my girlfriend on my lunch break and we decided to go to Alushi’s. This place really is a hidden gem in Brighton. The smells coming from the coal grill and kebabs are incredible and immediately draw you in. We both went for the meal deal, which is excellent value: a wrap, chips and a drink for £12. We chose the homemade chilli sauce and garlic sauce, which were both delicious. The wraps were incredibly tasty. The meat was perfectly grilled and generously portioned. I went for the lamb while my girlfriend chose the chicken. The salad inside the wrap was very fresh, with ripe tomatoes and a lovely pickle that really stood out. On top of all this, the service was fantastic. The guy behind the counter was friendly and happy to make recommendations. When we were leaving, we told him how good the food was. He winked, wished us a great day, and clearly knows just how good his food is. Highly recommend this place.”

“Had a lovely experience at Tookta! The food was absolutely delicious – very authentic Thai flavours and clearly made with care. The service was just as wonderful. The owner and staff were incredibly welcoming, making it feel like a warm, local gem rather than just a restaurant. One of the best Thai meals I’ve had in Brighton – highly recommend and will definitely be back!”

“We went here for our anniversary dinner, wonderful food and service! We had the duck and lamb, both very tender and juicy. For starters we had the duck roll and scallops, I normally don’t enjoy seafood which I always find “fishy” but I loved the scallop, complemented by the sauce/puree that goes with it. For dessert we had the mango cheesecake, not the most impressive but not bad and would overall recommend this place !”

“As a vegan it's rare to have so many choices and we did! The food is so fresh and tasty. I don't like too spicy and my husband does but they had great options for us both. “Hands down the BEST pizza in Lewes! Nah… actually it’s the best pizza I think I’ve ever had. No joke! The Fuoco Blue is my weakness. Super friendly staff in a sweet, simply, hidden away location behind the station. And now they do awesome coffee too! If you like a raw and rustic atmosphere, friendly, down to earth staff and pizza that is frickin heaven with every mouthful - then def come here!”

“We were quickly greeted and seated and there was a lovely buzz as the restaurant was full. There was plenty for the vegetarians among us on the menu, and the waiter advised the abstainers from alcohol as well as suggesting wine to go with our food choices. I had a very good cocktail. When the food came it looked lovely and tasted wonderful. Some Spanish people at the next table seemed to be enjoying theirs, so I think it must be up to Spanish standards. We had ordered rather a lot, but there wasn’t much left! We had a lovely evening, and will be back as soon as we can find some more greedy people to share with!”

“Me and my partner went here after being recommended by a chef I work with and it was fabulous! I tried the lobster special and it was the best lobster I’ve ever had, the potato salad and bisque was insane and everything was ultimately tasty. We also tried the beef croquettes, oysters and prawns for starters which were all delicious and perfectly prepared, my partner absolutely adored the chocolate pot for dessert as well. The wine list is perfect, I had the cheapest vinho verde as wanted to spend more on my food and it was still fantastic. Only thing I wouldn’t recommend was the margarita but that’s just my personal preference (no salt rim, not on the rocks so if you like that then go for it!) Our servers were great too, extremely good service thank you guys!”

“I held my Husband's 50th birthday party here! It was fabulous.. nothing was too much trouble, the food they did was tasty and high quality.They made sure they had the right number of staff, even helping me do the decorating on the night! They are such lovely people and put you at ease! I’ve eaten here loads of times and it has always been superb so it’s not surprising that they can also cater and host a function so well also.”

“My mother and I visited this place on the 09.10.25 during lunch time hours. We were greeted with a beautiful smile form a young lady that was very happy passionate and welcoming. She designated a very nice table with a good view by the window overlooking the best view. All other staff were very kind and attentive including the restaurant owner . The atmosphere was nice with great menu selection and very good music playing in the background. The young lady was efficient and always took care of my mother's needs and even spoke in my mother's mother tongue spanish. The food was great, always well presented and very delicious. We had alot of fish dishes and they were tasty and well cooked . Overall it was a very pleasant experience lovely restaurant very clean on a beautiful sunny day. Upon existing the restaurant we were very impressed with the kindness and professionalism of everyone working that day.Also the lady owner was actually near the entrance she very nicely spoke to us briefly with a smile and said our goodbyes. “All-round delicious and joyful Indian meal with a great deal of creativity and wonderful service. Only one of our party of 4 was vegetarian with rest of us occasional meat eaters but the food was so good that we were all very satisfied with the delicious fare. “Such an amazing restaurant!! Food was soooo delicious, and it came really quickly! Service was great, the staff were keen to recommend dishes and ensure we had considered the specials (so glad they did because we had one of the specials and it was unreal!!) We had the crispy squid to start which came with a range of really fragrant and delicious sauces. Then shared the green curry and the pad see ew, both so full of flavour. Loved the homemade lemon ice tea too. Really great place, I highly recommend!!”

“Wow wow wow!! If you've never been to the Arcades restaurant on Worthing seafront you have to go! 5* food and 5* service. A family run business and a huge choice of menu and very reasonable prices! Where can you get a starter for £6 these days? We had whitebait and calamari starters. For mains we had steak, sea bass and cod and chips. All delicious and huge portions. The only picture I took was of the steak main If you've not tried this place you must!”

“Amazing family run Italian restaurant!! My boyfriend and I happened to stumble across this restaurant this evening and we were extremely impressed- from the service, to the atmosphere, to the food it was 5* all the way through. We were both made very comfortable upon arrival and noticed that our lovely waiter made extra effort to make note of our names and to make sure we were all okay throughout our meal, something I have not received at a bigger restaurant chain. It really did feel like we were treated like we were members of this family! As for the service, it was very quick and the presentation of the food at mamma Mia’s is PHENOMENAL! I had a beautiful sea food risotto which I will whole heartedly say was the BEST risotto I’ve ever had. From the flavourful sauce to the fresh mussels it was perfect! My boyfriend also enjoyed his chicken pizza and commented that he has never experienced a pizza like the one at mamma Mia’s. I had the panna cotta for dessert and the food just keeps on getting better, it was so creamy and the sauce tasted amazing! I highly recommend mamma mia’s if you want an authentic, cozy and welcoming Italian restaurant. We will definitely be returning and I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu!!
