“I love fresh with my whole heart ❤️. Every morning I would wake up and go on my morning walk for some FRESH air. At the start of the year i would always get a meatball wrap but I was heartbroken when they stopped selling them. In fact the hot food section was a bit rubbish by the end of the year. The meal deal section quickly became my favourite. The pasta pots, the scotch eggs, the steak slices. Yum. Everything I had a craving fresh had the answer. Did I spend too much money there? Yes. Do i regret it? Never.”

“I’ve used H&B for a decade, especially when travelling outside the UK (in Malta, Greece and Spain) as you know you can rely on H&B but I never wanted to do the royalty card. In the past, I always forgot the card, and H&B often had great deals in-store. Recently, I visited the shop in Bath, and Amy was amazing. She was professional and friendly. She made customers feel comfortable and welcome. So, I decided to get a royalty membership this time as I need to get my health back on track. I definitely recommend it to friends and family. “I can't speak for the rest of the gaff but the bakery is a particular highlight - I once bought a raspberry croissant and found a pleasing note bathing in the jam centre that read 'you are worth it. I believe in you. This sweet treat and your purchasing of it seals the deal that you are special and you should know it. Love jasmine x'. Kudos and hat doffing go to this special employee for blessing my day and changing my life. I now believe in myself and lift weights and steal prams from skips to deconstruct and turn into fabricless tent structures.”

“Having read quite a few very negative reviews about Scholars of Bath, I am able to report that my experience today, when I took my grandson in for his school uniform was nothing but positive. Despite there being quite a few people already in the shop, we were dealt with promptly and efficiently by the manager. She advised, assisted and prompted in a friendly and knowledgeable way throughout. She was happy to fetch different sizes and offer advice and we never felt rushed or pressured. My grandson's comment to me as we left the shop was 'She was nice...'”
