“Lovely afternoon spend in a beautifully converted Venetian-Gothic building, as an architecture graduate I really appreciate beautiful interiors. The host greeting us and seated our group in a lovely setting which was all ready and prepared for our arrival. Our server was very attentive and constantly checking if we were happy or needed anything. The traditional fish and chips was a favourite amongst our guests! Would recommend the linguine & elderflower mocktail. We will definitely be back soon and recommend if you are visiting Bristol to stop by especially as the brunch we had previously was great - try the pancakes!”

“This is a really authentic, slightly old school but rustic cinema. Extremely clean, good vibes and friendly staff. Pricing is very reasonable. The leather recliner chairs are super comfortable and cosy. Really large screen with decent audio. Popcorn top notch, the nachos were pretty average. Plenty of parking and fast food places nearby. Location is fantastic. Highly recommended.”

To be able to leave him with a carer who he wants to stay with is lovely as a working parent, 2 weeks of attending 1 session a week and now he cannot wait to go to school! “I’ve visited the nursery three times now—mainly the baby room, but I’ve also spent time in the toddler room and spoken with several staff members, including Carl, the manager. Everyone has been really friendly and approachable. While two of my visits didn’t have children present, this is simply because the nursery is still new to the area and in the process of building its reputation after taking over from the previous setting. That might put some people off, but everyone has to start somewhere, and from what I’ve seen, the team is committed to creating a high-quality nursery, much like their well-reviewed sister site on Great Park Road. The quieter start is also understandable given the location—it’s not in the most convenient spot for commuting parents, as many people travel out of Bradley Stoke for work and prefer nurseries closer to main routes. Taking all of that into account, I’ve been really impressed with the staff, and I’m excited for my little boy to join in September. I’m sure by then it will be full of little ones, learning, playing, and causing mischief!”
