“We have just had a wonderful 4 night break in one of the studio cottages. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The welcome pack, which includes lovely homemade bread was an added bonus. Room was clean and the shower a treat. Local pub did great food that you can walk to in 5 minutes. What sets this place above others is the host. Angela was wonderful and friendly. She allows you to fish in their large pond and if like us, you may be lucky and see the kingfisher too. I am sure we will return.”

“What an amazing holiday flat. It was spacious, comfortable and charming. Some basic essentials were provided to make you feel at home, although what we missed was some salt in the kitchen, and body wash and shampoo in the bathrooms. However, there is a Morrisons next door, so you can easily pick up whatever you need. You get a designated parking spot behind the property. The road is narrow, so it can be tricky to manoeuvre through the gates. Regardless, parking is a great perk of the place. There is a bus stop close by, which is also serviced by the National Express, so it was very convenient for us travelling from London. The cleaner arrived about 15-20 minutes before checkout. We were in the process of leaving anyway, but that was a little bit awkward.”

“Our Choir booked out some rooms for rehearsals over a weekend, and we had a great time in the spaces provided. The staff was incredibly kind, and even provided tea and coffee for those attending. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for hireable spaces in Bath.”

“Really lovely setting for a light lunch. I went for the Bahia Piccante pizza which was really tasty, the pepperoni had just the right amount of kick to it. My partner had the falafel wrap and said it was very delicious as well. They had a houseplant stall in the middle where you could purchase them and I did go a bit wild in the aisles with this. All in all very reasonably priced and will be returning!”

“We first went to the restaurant here and loved the food and atmosphere so much that we came back to get married here! The grounds are amazing and the food is worth more than its 2 AA rosettes. The staff are impeccable and trained to the highest standard. The hotel and rooms are extremely luxurious - we felt like royalty. I'd live here if I could!”

“Yesterday I had the pleasure of visiting Thaikhun in Bath. I have been here a few times now over my time at university and every time I’ve been I’ve had a great experience. What strikes you immediately is the authentic feel, you literally feel like you’re walking into a piece of Thailand. The layout imitates the hustle and bustle of the streets and food stalls of Bangkok with bright and colourful Thai advertisements, street signs, Buddhist shrines and much more. The service was second to none. My server Oat, originating from Bangkok, immediately brought the famous Thai hospitality that I experienced on my travels to life. He was attentive, friendly and a genuinely lovely guy to have a chat with. I ordered the Thai BBQ chicken wings, the stir fry pork belly with egg fried rice. The food was authentic, tasty, well-balanced and the right level of spice. It really took me back to the delicious flavours, spices, seasonings and aromas I experienced when I visited Thailand. I would recommend this place to anyone that loves Thai food or wants to try Thai food for the first time!”

“Came to Casa de Tapas and found the place crowded. That and the heavenly smell wafting from the inside drew us in. The host was polite excellent and service was excllent. The food God the food!!!!! Gastronomical magic. The prawns in our Gambones were soft and juicy, the buttery sauce was burst of flavor on the tongue. The chicken in our Pollo Con Tomatoes was falling off the bones. The Dark and Sunny was a pwrfwct foil for the dishes we ordered. In all a fantastic experience”

“What a lucky find! We popped into The Locksbrook Inn and fell in love with the place straight away. It has a truly special magic about it. Picture this: you're sitting in a comfy armchair, surrounded by warm lighting and stylish decor, while the boats gently glide past outside. It's pure relaxation. The service was exceptional – not just friendly, but attentive in a wonderfully pleasant and unobtrusive way. You can really tell the staff love what they do. We worked our way through the drinks menu and were delighted by the quality and selection. The Locksbrook Inn is more than just a pub; it's a proper retreat where time seems to slow down a little. “Mission Burrito has been my go to for the last 10 years easily. Good quality, healthy and convenient food. I’ve always received great service when there, and I often recommend to all friends to go for food. My loyalty card usually gets filled a lot quicker than I would care to admit. Will continue to be my go to for a good value, filling Mexican food - can’t beat a good rice box. Love the frequent different (usually themed) specials they do as well, and can’t beat a chilled lime Jarrito.”

“We booked a wine tasting at the Majestic pn Bath Rd and Massi was our sommelier for the evening. He was really knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. He put us at ease and answered all of our questions, not matter how basic they were. I described the types of wine I liked over the phone before arriving and he picked us a perfect selection. Despite another member of staff being off sick, Massi handled all the customers inc us well and we came away very happy. The store front is a bit rundown but there is a bus stop right outside which is ideal.”
