“A lovely pub, relaxed and warm atmosphere. Good choice of drinks and friendly, prompt service. We were there on curry night and would highly recommend the meal deal, we also had desert (bounty cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding). One curry choice, homemade and tasty. Really lovely food, and the chips were homemade and great!”

“We are Malaysians and to see some of the items such as Hainanese Chicken Rice, Rendang Beef and Nasi Goreng on the Menu is so heart warming. We ordered the Mapo Tofu, Fried Fish Rice Noodles in Creamy Broth, and Fried Pork Chop Curry and Rice, all were delicious, however the Mapo Tofu isn't to our taste. We might go for some other items on the menu as there are plenty to choose from. The portions are generous. My son who had the Pork Chop finished his plate very quickly, and he said its very tasty. “A really lovely chain option in the heart of Bath. Cosy Club does it's usual formula of providing an off-street Cafe with relaxing vibes and consistent good quality, with the added bonus of a lovely balcony area overlooking the busy square. The food was good, well presented, reasonably priced, and with great options for kids. Coffees were good too, nothing special but reasonably well made. Highchairs were available, and service was incredibly friendly.”

“I was walking along the Kennet and Avon Canal from Bradford on Avon to Bath, enjoying the spring sunshine. When I came across this delightful cafe at Monckton Combe, I had a lovely wedge of coffee and walnut cake, with a cup of my favourite chai latte tea, which was equally good The whole stretch of my walk along the canal was absolutely fantastic seeing all the narrow boats or barges, whichever is the correct definition The railway line to Bath is adjacent to the canal Being largely rural, always ensure that you are physically capable. There are not many exits off the path But if you are excited to experience this wonderful Also, enjoy the Tythe Barn in Bradford on Avon”

“Proper village pub in a lovely setting, with cosy rooms over the bar. Stayed here for a night whilst doing some walks of the surrounding area, enjoyed a couple of beers in a very friendly atmosphere, had a good (and quiet) night's sleep, followed by a hearty breakfast before setting off home. Would recommend to anyone planning on doing any walking in the area and looking for a place with character to bed down for a night or two.”

“We stayed for a long weekend in a family room. Clean but a bit dated. Beds were comfy but the double was 4'6! Good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Free parking and some off road. Bus stop just outside with easy access to Bath. Can walk along the river too but it's quite industrialised so not pretty!”

Showed us all the available fabrics, sizes, styles etc. Ended up purchasing online, but it was great to see it in the store first and I was grateful for her time.”

“Best brunch in bath! Cosy and intimate cafe located right opposite the train station. I got the biscoff pancakes which were perfect if you have a sweet tooth. The portion was massive and they tasted divine. Service was lovely and the food came very quickly. Would love to come here again in the future!”

“Lovely place to stop for a cuppa if visiting the Jane Austen Centre or are just walking by. We enjoyed a nice selection of teas and scones in a period setting. The team was welcoming and accommodating. Especially nice if you’d like a quieter setting for an afternoon tea. We were able to walk in, but a booking would usually be recommended.”

“After scouring Bath for live music for NYE and failing miserably we ended up at the Devonshire Arms. A bit of a locals pub but we were accepted and greater whole heartedly. Live music was good fun although they certainly won't be going pro anytime soon! Good beer and a bit of a spread put on for NYE. Landlord made us feel very welcome and even apologised for charging us entry! Made some new friends and had a throughly enjoyable time. Would recommend!”
