The main takeaway from eating here was the atmosphere was really quite nice in my opinion. It was busy and the decor was awesome! The service was decent but the kitchen is quite small so food did take some time to come out. But if your not in a rush its worth a visit.”

Everything you could need. The room was beautifully decorated. Dinner was by far the best quality of the whole trip. Hearty portion too. Immaculately clean rooms. “What an exquisite building, and it's many uses, steeped in history, before being adapted to this wonderful restaurant! The first time I'd been recommended by my Daughter and her husband. I went to Bath for a two night stay with two friends, who also had not visited before. We all agreed it was a fabulous evening! It was most certainly a treat, likewise was the food! The Sunday roast was very tasty and with unlimited yorkshire puddings & gravy. We did book our table. The service was swift and attentive!”

“A really pleasant and well run guest house/B&B. It is a 15 minute walk into Bath centre but sits close to wonderful parks and country. There are also bar, restaurant and convenient shopping facilities nearby. The room was spacious with a really nice bathroom, luxurious linen and towels. Very, very clean. really made to feel welcome without being intruded upon. Excellent place to stay!”

“Outdoor dining on Kingsmead Square. What’s not to like in terms of atmosphere. To be serenaded by the buskers of varying quality in the fresh outdoor air. Wait staff were very cordial and attentive. To start I had the Burata wrapped in Parma Ham. A lovely mix of salt balsamic and creaminess. You could tell the Burata was high quality. I then had the special Truffle Mozzarella Pepperoni Walnut pizza. This was on a wholewheat base and you could defiantly tell the difference. A yeasty flavour combining well the salty meat and cream of the cheese. Walnuts were a nice earthy addition.”

“Indian Temptation is known for miles around for their Masala Dosa and excellent veggie curries but this time we went for the newly introduced Christmas Thali and very fine it is too - beautiful to look at and great to eat with lots of varied dishes and tastes. Recommended”

“This shop is brilliant, and super well kept, I was impressed with the range of items available and the presence of some more niche ingredients you may otherwise be hard pushed to find. Prices are fair and on the mark with (at a glance) many being cheaper than supermarkets. On a personal level I liked seeing full shelves, products faced up properly and generally a clean and tidy environment. Even the dude on the counter bothering to say hello was a nice touch. “I rented the Avon Hall and the games room for my daughter's birthday party. There were around 60 guests and I had hired an ABBA tribute act. The premises were perfect for the occasion. The Avon Hall is quite large and bare but we had put up lots of decorations. We used the games room to lay out food and drink. There are three toilets very close to the Avon Hall, which was good. All in all, a great party in an excellent community centre.”
